Surprisingly good for the price!
Bought one of these for a semi-temporary setup to run some older projectors off an SDI signal, and didn't want to drop $500 on a Datavideo converter.This thing can actually take a 1080p SDI signal and drop it out to any one of a number of VGA modes, so it can act as a scaler. I'm not using audio in this application, but I would assume that it's using channels 1 and 2 on the SDI signal to extract to the 3.5mm jack.About the only downside to it is that the power connector is really finicky, but once this thing is in a fixed location (I used some 3M Dual Lock) it shouldn't be a problem. Might be nice if it operated on a more standard 12V rather than 5V, but that's not a dealbreaker.
