Love this book! Recommend for older littles
This book is gorgeous and such fun! I wouldn’t recommend it for babies because some of the flaps are quite fragile and easy to tear off. Kiddo will need good coordination and the ability to be careful while playing with it to really enjoy it.

New Favorite
This book is perfect for my seven month old! Its large but light weight so he can play with the pages and filled with great activity flaps.

Very interactive
I read to my 5 month old and this gives us a lot of flexibility to interact as there are VERY LITTLE written in the book!

Tiny flaps
The book is giant, and really visually nice if you like classic Pooh. But the flaps inside are tiny. There are a ton to lift but they're really small so there are several per page. challenging for little hands.

Large book, lots of flaps = occupied toddler
We love classic Pooh here, so when I found this Giant Lift-the-Flap, it was great! The book is fairly large (a little larger than a 15" laptop, I think) and the flaps are very sturdy -- I had to open them all just to break in the book, because my toddler had trouble with some of the flaps. One thing I didn't understand was that the numbers page (while gorgeously illustrated as Pooh's tree) had the numbers scattered throughout the picture, rather than in chronological, linear order. I think it would be confusing for a toddler who isn't familiar with number order yet. The alphabet page is cute, with the storyline on the opposite page that all the animals brought Pooh a present to represent letters of the alphabet....but some of the flaps open hinged on the right, others are hinged on the left, and one of them is top-to-bottom. I guess the maker thought it would help with right and left hand development? Hmmm. And some of the gifts mentioned are definitely English...."W" is "Wellingtons" so you might need to explain why rubber boots are listed there. The illustrations are classic Pooh, and the sheer number of flaps distracted my toddler during her 2 year old doctor visit. Very satisfied.
