LEGO 31129 Creator 3 in 1 Majestic Tiger to Panda or Koi Fish Set & 31112 Creator 3 in 1 Wild Lion, Ostrich and Warthog Set, Buildable Animal Figures, Toys for Kids 7+ Years old

I quite enjoyed this build and its phases of parts going from unrecognisable to clearly identifiable. The stripes were really cleverly made. The set comes with three printed booklets, one for each build – although the instruction booklet for the tiger build is produced to a higher quality than the koi or red panda (thicker and with a glossy paper cover).I had originally planned to build the red panda first, but then realised that the instructions for the tiger have step by step phases including the opening of the four bags of build pieces included with this set, whereas the koi and panda assume the bags gave all already been opened. I’ll get to them later when I’ve had enough of the tiger. This build took me about two and a quarter hours, with some interruptions.The tiger is pretty satisfying when made up – a good sized piece, with articulation points at head, shoulders, hips, tail, and on the front legs – though his legs could be firmer and better at staying upright. The jointed front legs are a little prone to sinking downwards.There were quite a few extra little pieces with this set, which made it doubly annoying that in the set I received there was one piece missing – a small, flat panel with a single stud that belongs right in the middle of the tiger’s face. There was only supposed to be one of this brick type in the whole set and it wasn't there. I'm sure I can find one somewhere (and if I can't I can always apply to Lego's missing bricks service) but this was a slight annoyance. I'm still giving this five stars as I thought this was an enjoyable build and the finished tiger looks great, though will reduce if I'm unable to obtain the missing piece for any reason.

This kit contains the pieces needed to construct the tiger, a panda or a koi, with the tiger being the biggest and thus first choice option. A couple of hours in one go and he was complete and what a fine model he is as well!As usual, everything is bagged into smaller, bite sized accumulations of (still) lots of pieces, but at least that method helps to ensure you are less likely to pick the wrong piece, even if there are still many to choose from.The instructions are reasonably easy to follow overall and I found this simpler to follow than some previous models I have done, but part of that could be down to greater experience and an improving ability to interpret the instructions.I confess I don’t like to dismantle my models once they have been built and so I had to get a second set so that I could build the panda as a companion piece (still a work in progress). Photos will follow once he has also been completed, but this is one of my favourite sets and, be warned, you may end up getting more than one if the panda takes your fancy as otherwise it is curtains to the tiger…

Did this with a 6 year old, the way the stripes are made is genius, from the pic I assumed solid printed bricks but no!At one point during the build the 6 year old started to almost blackout laughing at the tigers bum.120 odd pages of instructions, takes a couple of hours at a normal pace, well worth it.

This is one of the most beautiful creator sets Lego has ever come out with. I will say this is an extremely hard kit even for a 9 year old ! It took a lot of patience tears and a few hours to build ! But once it was built it was amazing to look at ! I don’t even want to try the other builds ! You def have to pay attention to every detail in the pages or you will miss steps !! But it’s so worth it In the end !

The birthday boy was really pleased with his present . Went home and later phoned to say he had made it 😊

I'm not a big fan of Creator sets, most of them look a bit worse than other Lego series as they have to allow to build 3 different things from the same blocks. This one is an exception! We built only the tiger so far but it looks amazing! Details are great and it presents very exceptional on the shelf

Es un regalo para un niño que cumple 9 años, amante de los animales. Es articulado, muy chulo. Es un 3 en uno, por lo que si el niño se cansa puede hacer otras dos figuras. Lego nunca defrauda.
