Don't forget to bring a towel~
great towels, very absorbent. don't let superglue get ANYWHERE near the fiber of these towels though... I found this material instantly dries superglue, but theyre great for practically any cleaning application! easy to clean too.

Better Than I Expected
The first thing I liked about these microfiber towels was the instructions on the packaging. They came in a clip seal plastic bag with a large insert showing the logo etc (as you'd expect) but it also described how the best results would be obtained if they were lightly washed and allowed to dry first. In my haste to go and clean the car (yeah I know, who does that) I almost missed these instructions. It's the little things like that which can make or break a product I reckon. I can't say 100% if it truly makes a difference but they definitely did feel different after the wash. Sort of as if they could absorb more, I don't know, I could be imagining things. The other thing I liked was they were easy to hang on to while I was cleaning the car because of the edging on each towel. I've had others before, that when you flatten them out to do a big wiping movement (say on the roof) the towel keeps slipping out of your hands. Not with these. They are also quite big (but not unwieldy) so you clean more surface area more quickly. The two different textures on each side is another plus as the manufacturer says you can use them indoors but I bought them specifically for the car so I'll take their word on that. Maybe I'll keep one of the 3 for indoors just because I can. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this purchase. Good quality and good follow up emails too (extra tips, care instructions and that sort of thing). I'll be recommending them to my car friends.

No Impressed
I'm not impressed with these towels. They smear the water around on my car and many passes are needed to absorb the water. I since have ordered the Meguiars Water Magnet. The difference between the two are night and day. I don't recommend the Big Daddy's towels.

Bigger and thirstier, well-suited for the jobs I have in mind
I like microfiber towels because they soak up so much liquid for their size, and they don't cause "streaks" (like on glass) nearly as bad as cotton or polyester towels.I think the first time I ever heard of them was when I read Timothy Ferriss' book, "The 4-Hour Work Week," when he described traveling "light," including a single microfiber towel to dry off with after taking a shower. I've since read about using microfiber towels for bath towels, as well as other purposes, because they are so much smaller to wash and dry, saving water and electricity. There are three large towels in this package. The Amazon listing says that they are 16 x 16 inches, yep, that's the size. Yep, I measured 'em. And they have a black edging sewn around the edges, giving these towels an attractive look, especially for Pittsburg Steelers fans. I could hardly see dirtying them up by cleaning the outside of my car ... but I might do it, anyway! This particular seller sends follow-up emails about this product, with "tips and tricks" about these particular towels. I have other microfiber towels but actually never noticed that one side is "rougher," and the other side is "smoother." In the last "tips and tricks" email, I learned that the rougher side of the towel might be better for "rough" jobs, like washing the car, and the smooth side of the towel might be better suited for "smooth" jobs, like cleaning the glass. Who knew?

Big Daddy's Microfiber Towels
These towels look good and pickup a little more water than the the other microfiber towels. However the price is too high. I bought a package of 4 towels from Harbor Freight, they work pretty well and they cost less than $2.00.

The BEST I ever used.
As a 30 year detailer I've tried many MF towels, I have found and used some great towels in the past but didn't find one I liked when it came to using quick detailers, rinse-less washes , water-less washes , they just didn't absorb enough, always fought streaking.Well I just found the perfect all around best towel in Big Daddy's MF towels, here's my thoughts. The less you have to wipe to dry a product like a QD the better off you are, less chance of inducing swirls and light scratches. Some think you only cause swirls by washing but that's not the case, drying a car with a towel that doesn't absorb is just as bad. With BD's towels I found out that one pass with one towel to clean the surface and one to dry it off is all that's needed. They absorb like no other towel I tired in the past, in fact I washed my black car and tried the towels to dry the car, I couldn't believe these smaller towels worked better than my larger drying towels.I'll use no other towels from here on out.One other thing, they're great to remove compounds, wax, sealants, works extreamly well when it's time to clean your glass or chrome. You gotta try them to believe it, this isn't an avg. MF towel.

The Ones to Buy!!!
In my youth I used a chamois and wanted to replace it as it was lost years ago. I bought a natural chamois for too much money and was thoroughly disappointed. I don't know if it is modern paint technology or not but the chamois I bought was more of a squeegee than a drying towel. You could not swipe across the vehicle as it would drag. Imagine if there was a bit of grit? So I went looking for a really good microfiber cloth, Some too big, I wanted something I could easily wring out, some with poor reviews and some just way too expensive, like some of the waffle weaves. Then I found these Big Daddy reviews and decide to try them. I can't be happier, no labels to cut out, really thick and two textures! They suck up a ton of water, on the first pass it seems like you wring out a gallon, then back for the finish pass, and done. I'm sure it saves time and as I wash often that is a good thing.
