Book arrived quickly and undamaged. Looks as if was carefully packed for shipping which is very important when ordering expensive coffee table books. This book is larger, and makes your decor look high end! Very happy with my purchase! Picture of book shown without book sleeve.

This book gave me wonderful ideas for my remodel, very inspiring!

I bought this book after seeing one of the projects on YouTube. While the photos are spectacular and the interior design projects unmatched, this book organizes its material by the type of room, rather than by the house. That is, entryways, sitting rooms, kitchens, etc are collected in chapters. It lacks progression and is hard to see how any ideas are developed in any of the structures, never mind continuity, transitions, how problems have been solved etc. Even though these designers projects are surely worthwhile, this book is a fail.

Beautiful houses with lovely rooms (although an awful lot of gray). What I liked was the collection of elegantly decorated, comfortable rooms. I do wish, however, that the book had dealt with rooms as part of a given house, not as a series of rooms separate from the rest of the house. I got no sense at all of how individual rooms worked as a part of the whole. Somewhat confusing.

This was just what I expected to receive from the beautiful and talented Emma Sims-Hitch. It is thoughtfully laid out with gorgeous photos.

I own so many interior design books and wasn't expecting much, but this one is by far one of the best and is easy to read and VERY down to earth! I love the way she gives tips, and design formulas to calculate the correct lighting fixture size. The beautiful photography of many homes including her own is amazing and helps to convey her design tips to pull it all together. It doesn't matter if your vibe is modern, boho, transitional, traditional or country; this Book is absolutely inspiring and will not disappoint!

Absolutely beautiful book to be enjoyed curled up with a cup of tea or glass of wine and appreciative every detail of these lovely interiors!

I bought this book as I love the designers ideas. They are very much like my own. It’s a large heavy book, full of information, pictures and descriptions of styling your home. Very pleased with it.

Ich habe dieses Buch im Urlaub gesehen und habe mich sehr darauf gefreut. Leider ist die Freude sehr getrübt, da aufgrund eines mangelnden Kantenschutzes beim Transport die Buchecken und Kanten eingedrückt sind.Sehr schade bei einem so teuren Buch.

I have many of the latest interior design books by McGee, Lewis, Lamb and Heath, all of which I bought for their content rather than how they look on my coffee table. All of these, while beautiful, have very modern interiors (some infused with splendid antiques and genuine Persian rugs), so I wanted to find a book that would transition me into a ‘busier’, more eclectic style of decorating. This book left me flat! The rooms, were stuffy and dated with no personality, and, although I tried hard to find inspiration, there was none.

Exactly what you’d want from Neptune and Emma. A beautifully illustrated book in a large coffee table format size. I bought this book to take on holiday and browse with coffee. Love it.
