It works! Plug it in and now you have three recepticles... telephone, fax, etc.Quality seems good. There's not much else to say.

Good for splitting VOIP line into a couple of wired voice lines and one fax line, or a couple of fax lines and one voice line.
If you have a single VOIP line that you need to split into (a) one voice and two fax lines, or (b) two voice and one fax line, that is, 6x4 plug to 6x4, 6x4 and 6x4 jacks, this is the product for you. You will need two pairs (4 lines) in each jack. This works well to accomplish that.If you have two line (copper or VOIP) that you want to split into two separate line phones and one dual line phone, that is, 6x4 plug to 6x2, 6x2 and 6x4 jacks, then try the (slightly cheaper) Black Point Products BT-043 2 Line Modular 3-Way Jack.

Works as it should
I bought this adapter to replace a 2-to-1 adapter as I needed an additional jack to accommodate a special telephone for hard-of-hearing people. Probably shouldn't mention that I found out later that F*R*Y's carries the same part for less than four smackeroos.
