Love this!
I bought this for my Celeston celestial binoculars. Excellent product, super versatile with respect to height (multiple levels for tripod settings from table top to full standing for a very tall person), as well as with the tilt and pan functions. Stable and easy binocular attach and detach. Excellent product at a very good price.

Wow! For the price...amazing!!
Wow...for the price this is amazing. Sturdy, solid. Would like a bit lighter as I'm a hunter but for the price it's awesome. They even give you cammo tape to cover the legs. Works great with my spotting scope! So happy!!

Not bad for 40 bucks.
Didn’t have an expendable income when it came to buying a tripod for my spotting scope. Bought it to mainly glass from the back deck and a few other spots watching fields. Did not need to spend 200 bucks on a tripod. Reviews for this one were decent so I pulled the trigger. Pretty happy with it. One major issue they need to fix is the quick release lock. It’s a little lever that cams over to lock the camera, bino or scope plate into place. This one doesn’t stay cammed over and and just springs back. I just used one of my wife’s hair ties to kind of mini bungee it in place and it holds the lever in place securely. Another reviewer also commented about this problem. The legs extend pretty easily and are not flimsy. The adjustments to pan up down left right are pretty basic but functional. I know there are much better quality and stabile tripods on the market but for 40 bucks I think I did okay here.

Poor design - you get what you pay for
This tripod is light and of suitable height for star binoculars. I had high hopes for it but was very disappointed in its performance after only one outing with it. You’ll need a much taller binocular adaptor than the one that comes with it or the tilt handle (for azimuth) will poke you in the neck. The alt adjuster is awkwardly located making panning tricky. I have 5 tripods and have never had trouble with mounting binoculars, camera, or small scope until this new tripod. The lock lever is plastic with a flimsy spring. I bought the tripod for a tall fit for lightweight star binoculars. The spring failed on the first night-time use rendering the tripod useless. It looked like a simple fix, but the spring and lever were too flimsy to repair. Not wanting to risk having an optical device fall off the tripod due to a faulty mount lock, I returned it.

The same as the Vortex stand, only MUCH cheaper
A friend of mine has the Vortex brand of this rig. It cost him almost $200. I bought this one not expecting it to be quite as good as my friends. Turns out it is almost identical in quality. And I paid way less for mine! highly recommend.

Quite a nice tripod for the price
I’m surprised at how nice this tripod is, having a hood to hold weight in the center also is a super nice feature when you need to deploy this in grass or dirt (like at a range). It’s made of pretty heavy duty material yet much cheaper than comparable “big name brand” tripods. I use it for my spotting scope and once I set it up I hang my backpack from the center to help weight it down in the grass. Only thing I have issue with are the adapters, there really isn’t much to them, I’ve read other people have had problems with theirs. I have not but I can understand what they’re upset about with it.

Works well with my spotting scope!
Bought this instead of the Vortex tripod and it works well so far with my spotting scope! It does take some time to lock the exact position I want while viewing through the scope, but I like it for the price!
