Amazing beginner guitar and guitar package.
My son aged 8 wanted to learn electric guitar, after looking at lots of guitars and reading many reviews for smaller (3/4 sized kids guitars) I decided to purchase this one based on the good reviews and we weren’t disappointed! It arrived today and it’s such good quality, the guitar itself is a great size for him and a lovely weight not too heavy not too light and just a perfect guitar in every respect and very well made not flimsy at all. The strap is good and sturdy and again great size and well finished. The little amp takes a bit of playing around with to get the best sound but overall really good and bonus it can be plugged in to use or charged up and carried about which he loved! The packages came with a padded bag and plecks which he thought were fantastic, and even a guitar tuner and spare strings! Such a great beginner starter package at such an affordable price! He’s delighted.

Surprisingly well made 30 inch kids guitar!
My son recently wanted a guitar like ash from sing and given how small he is, I figured this would be the perfect size for him as it’s for his 6th birthday. I purchased the red 30 inch kids guitar. I plugged it in this evening and gave it a go on the amp that comes with it. After setting up the guitar I was incredibly surprised how well it plays! I managed to get the action way lower than I thought I would be able to. The amp has a clean setting (which has some slight distortion, but knocking the volume pot down on the guitar gets it clean) and an OD distortion setting for that rock sound. It’s rechargeable and is loud enough to fill a small space. The guitar is a single coil with a decent well made neck. The pots have no crackle and the jack input is well placed. The strap is a great length for his size and gives you enough play for adjustment. It comes with a clip on tuner which is pretty accurate as well as tools to adjust the string height if needed. Brilliant little beginner guitar, well made, looks good, great accessories and I’m very happy paying what I did for this.

Pint-Sized Rocker: The Donner 30-Inch Junior Electric Guitar
For any aspiring young musician, the allure of an electric guitar is undeniable. The Donner 30-Inch Kids Junior Electric Guitar promises to be that first exciting step into the world of amplified sound. While clearly designed for the younger player, its overall performance makes it a noteworthy instrument for budding shredders. The guitar arrived in packaging that was both secure and surprisingly compact, ensuring the instrument was well-protected during transit. The box was robust, giving confidence that the delicate components inside were safe. Delivery was prompt and without issue, a great start to what could be a musical journey. Unveiling the Donner junior electric guitar revealed a genuinely appealing instrument. The finish was smooth and vibrant, immediately catching the eye with its miniature yet authentic rock-and-roll aesthetic. All the essential elements of an electric guitar were present – the familiar body shape, the gleaming fretboard, and the essential pickups and controls – all scaled down to an appropriate size for younger hands. It looks every bit the real deal, just in a more manageable form factor. In hand, the guitar feels surprisingly solid for its size. The lightweight body makes it easy for a child to hold and maneuver, crucial for developing proper technique without fatigue. The fretboard felt smooth, and the frets themselves were well-finished, preventing any snags during chord changes or scale practice. The knobs and switches, while small, operated smoothly and felt durable enough for enthusiastic young musicians. The overall feel suggests a quality build despite its junior designation. My 9-year-old, a keen beginner, quickly got to grips with the Donner junior electric guitar. It's perfectly sized for younger players to comfortably reach all the frets and hold the instrument correctly. However, it's worth noting that for a 9-year-old, we found it a little on the small side. While perfectly playable, a slightly larger model might offer more longevity as they grow. That being said, for younger children or those just starting out, this size is ideal for fostering good habits. We primarily used it for basic chord practice and simple melodies, and it performed admirably. The sound was clear and the controls allowed for decent tonal variation, providing a genuine electric guitar experience. This Donner 30-inch junior electric guitar is an excellent starting point for very young aspiring guitarists, especially those aged around 5-8. While my 9-year-old found it slightly small for their size, it still provided a fantastic introduction to the electric guitar. It's a well-made, visually appealing, and genuinely functional instrument that can ignite a lifelong passion for music.

Fantastic beginner bundle!
A quality beginner guitar bundle for any newcomer. Purchased for my niece to start learning on. I purchased & highly recommend the sunburst version of this guitar. Mainly because the finish/colour looks incredible and really stands out as you can see in the video. Of very good standard especially at this price point. Definitely comparable to a squire guitar in terms of build and tone. The overall setup of the guitar was good - no sharp edging on frets, intonation in order. I always personally restring my guitars once I get them as there are far better strings you can be playing on that will improve comfort and really let the pickups shine. The pickups themselves sound good... for the price point. It's not going to sound quite like that classic 60's tele you here on records but for that you'd be 10x more out of pocket. It's definitely an affordable introduction to the telecaster feel/sound. The bridge pickup is your standard electric guitar tone. It'll sound good for any style and is a little beefier than the neck pickup. The middle position gives you a slight blend of both pickups - a lighter tone then the bridge but thicker than the neck. The neck pickup is where this guitar - and any telecaster for that matter - shines! It gives you that expected, classic Tele-Twang tone which is great for any rock, country, bluegrass or pop styles. Big fan of the guitar, especially for the money. Helped further by the fact it comes with: A gig bag - great for storage and travel. A cable - necessary for plugging into an amp. A strap - keeps the guitar around you while stood up.

Basic guitar smaller than expected
Quite well designed junior guitar, but smaller than expected, even for a 9 to 10 year old. The battery amplifier supplied is also very small and does not look very durable and its output is very weak. There is nothing wrong with the guitar design which looks and feels quite good quality.

Great for a first guitar for small hands. Didn't expect all the extras but it really was a bargain for Christmas. Highly recommend.

This is a solid electric guitar, it has a nice sound and I’m a fan of the 3/4 size guitar being smaller in size and having small hands. This is an excellent guitar for beginners, but it’s a solid guitar to use if you’re like me and have a smaller build. It’s a lot easier to reach all the cords on a guitar like this than on a full size and the sound in the same on an electric guitar! The black and white is sleek and classy looking, it looks nice with my amp and my pedals etc you can pull off a lot of looks with the two shades look. The pickups work great 👍🏻 no problems connecting and no interference. The seller offers amazing customer service and I’ve bought quite a few products from them because I know they are always helpful to answer questions. Most of the Donner sets come with everything you could possibly need, this set is a bit more basic but what it does come with is high quality. Obviously, it comes with the guitar 🎸, it comes with an excellent quality amp cord (long, sturdy and good mobility), a handy reference card with all the basic cords on it for a quick start to learning and a guitar bag. The bag has a good size front pocket, everything is padded and it has sturdy zippers. It has straps so you can carry it on your back or attach it to luggage. It’s a soft case but as mentioned, amply padded. I wouldn’t recommend flying with it other than as carry on, other than that, you could travel anywhere with this case (definitely need a hard shell case for flying and they’re usually too heavy for day to day use!). You can get an idea of the clear quality of the sound in the video I included. The type of strings were the ones included and they came prestrung. (note in video slight reverb is from taking video one handed and resting top against hollow wood door, when I lift guitar up the sound goes away. This is unplugged, it sounds much better plugged into the amp!) A few things of note, unlike most of the guitar kits, this one doesn’t include a lot of the cheap add ons. A brief list of things you might want to pick up/order if this is your first guitar: Extra strings (necessary!!) Picks Book of tab/music (a lot is free online) Capo (not immediately necessary but useful) Tuner (you can download a free app if you prefer) Music stand (I didn’t get one of these for ages but I was really happy when I did!) There are a lot of other add-ons you can get but don’t let them be excuses to stop you from learning. It comes with a card of cords, that’s a place to start! Learn all those cords and then start looking on YouTube for free ‘how to’ videos . Their are tons of them!
