The size is perfect: both length and diameter, the only thing that would make it better is maybe a smoother type of wood and not having the engravings. Use it all the time (have it almost 2 years) and am very happy with this purchase.

I wanted a small rolling pin I could keep on the counter with my everyday tools. This little guy is perfect! It's so smooth and the measures let me know how much I've rolled out my dough. Best of all, doughs won't stick! I've used it to make little turnovers and noodles so far. It works great!

I bought this for making dumplings. It works well and the wood is smooth. It is easy to clean. I wish it were thinner in diameter for what I use it for, but it still works better than a large rolling pin.

I was so happy when the rolling pin was delivered today!! I've been making a lot of dumplings and buns lately but the rolling pin I have is too long, and I wanted a shorter one for easier handling. I unwrapped the plastic and immediately saw that one end of the pin is deeply chipped in at least two places!! I wrote to the seller already and hope to get a replacement since this one cannot be used!!

This is an excellent size for rolling little dumpling wrappers which is what it is intended for. I do like the measurements etched on the side so you can be a bit consistent in your sizing. Perfect weight, seems well made.
