Doing a van conversion and looked around best value pre tape iv personally found.

I had an HVAC person come to do a checkup on my ducts, and while he was checking the furnace he noticed a lot of areas where air was blowing out. He suggested to put "metal tape" over the areas and I should notice a difference.Well, for one, I realized the furnace is a LOT quieter than before (yeah it was that bad), and more air moves through the house. Slapping it on there was easy; is quite sticky so make sure you handle it carefully. It's a good thing, but I missed out on a few inches when I first started using it.Oh, and when you apply it, make sure you use a credit card/smoother (or something similar), and make it FLAT AGAINST THE SURFACE because it's not effective if you put it on like a piece of regular tape. It has to be as flat as possible when you smooth it, because isn't that the point? No leaks or holes? You don't have to do one huge strip either, and it's better that you don't; a few inches down the line does the job. Just make sure it's smoothed out. The smoothing isn't difficult to do and isn't meant to freak you out if you want to purchase it, but that's its intended purpose.

Very thin like paper. Does not stick well.

Excellent foil tape ... did the job ... would recommend for ease of use to repair duct work ... would buy again from seller.
