These are my favorite leashes. The length is perfect as well as the location of the second handle. They are durable and do not fray or pill like some others I have purchased. I also love the carabiner-like clasp.

I have two Bernese Mountain Dogs. Each has one of these leashes. The clip on to the harness securely and easily and provide us all with enough distance to make walking together a pleasure, and handling a breeze. Of course they handle me as much as I direct them!! Durable, heavy duty, virtually indestructible. Absolutely THE BEST!!!!

This is the third one of these I've bought - not because they broke or wear out but because I seem to be collecting dogs. A 110lb Lab, 80lb Pit Mix and now some kind of Doodle. In any case, these leashes have held up well (first two anyway) and the traffic handle is great when I need to reign them in around crowded places or narrow areas. It took me a little while to get used to the 5' length but it works really well with three dogs. My only complaint is the traffic handle can drag when the pups are behaving and one of the leashes has worn through to the inner cord. Not really a leash problem but i would like the handle a little further from the collar clasp. I would buy again (hopefully won't need to) and would recommend. I know some complain about the carabiner breaking or being weak but I've not had any issues in well over a year.

Bought 2 of these for our two dogs 5 years ago and just bought 2 more to replace them because they started fraying a bit and the second handle started breaking away a bit. But they’ve held up so well overall and I purposely went back through my Amazon orders to purchase the same ones again! We use them daily and they hold up great through lots of camping, hikes, runs, etc. The second handle is a game changer as well. Comfortable to hold even when dogs pulls and the reflective pieces are helpful for night time walks!

Overall this is a great product. The automatic locking carabiner gives me peace of mind as a typical leash failed me and almost resulted in my dog getting hit by a car (he’s a puppy and we are still working on a solid recall). I am 5’3 and the lower handle is in a great spot and is perfect for holding when I ask my dog (springer spaniel) to heel. My boyfriend who is 6’3 says it’s a bit too low for him though. It has reflective striping which is great and has held up well so far. No complaints other than the piece covering the lower handle seems to be trying to move and uncover where it attaches to the main leash. It makes me wonder how long that handle will hold up.If it holds up I would love to see something similar for smaller dogs. I have a mini schnauzer too that I’m having a hard time finding a small locking carabiner leash for.

Going on two years with this and my pup gets 4-5 walks a week. He's strong, 70 lbs and a puller. The shorter lead only being 5 ft and the second handle is great. Lights up when headlights hit us at night. Perfect.

I have a large breed Corso as of now she’s still a puppy. The leash is a little heavy for her at the moment, but I can see the quality and strength in this leash will be good for her, as she gets older much bigger and stronger.. very sturdy absolutely love the dual handles for more control

We bought a leash with traffic loop and the loop started to come loose. When we reached out for assistance, we promptly got a replacement. Tuff Mutt’s customer service is outstanding!

My dog has been known to "unclip", regular leashes from his collar. He learned with a lot of them if he turned himself a certain way he could take off making walks stressful for me. I lost a dog as a kid by getting hit by a car, and that's a thing that still worries me to this day as he is a bolter right when he gets loose. With the clipping mechanism on this leash I feel confident and reassured that he can't do that, and it makes walks more enjoyable for the both of us. Also LOVE that it swivels as most leashes I've bought similar to this one didn't have a swivel end attached to the clip, so it would slowly tighten his prong collar choking him.All in all I recommend this leash 100%*picture just for random cuteness*

Haven't had it for very long so can't say long-term durability but feels sturdy and comfortable. Love that it's also reflective. definitely would say for medium to large dogs tiny bit on the heavy side but not too bad. Might update on durability in the future.

It cost me a bit, what with the postage.[I'm in UK] So hopefully it's worth it. Sofar, so good lol But very nice though 🐾🐾

This is the first leash with a locking mechanism that is reliable and easy to use, thanks to the twist and unlock mechanism. It's lighter than other locking leashes we have which makes it much easier on the doggo since there's not as much weight sitting on their neck. No wear after a year of steady use with a strong dog. I feel very safe with this leash experience.
