This little stool looks beautiful in my daughter’s room under her dressing table. With the funky little legs and a burst of pink this is ideal for a princess room

The stool arrived promptly and I'm quite happy with the look and feel. I usually hate the feel of velvet, so much it makes me feel ill, but this is quite short and soft even against the grain, so it's OK. I am using the stool at my miniature vanity station, and it's working well so far.I was pretty disappointed to find that the reverse side of the lid is not as shown in the images; it clearly has a wooden surface in the photos, but mine is covered by felt. I would remove it, but you can feel beneath the velvet the wall plug (? - whatever it is) would be on display. I might change it myself in future though.Something that is very disappointing is that the reversed surface and the lid are separate/broken (see images). I tried to screw them back together into the wall plug(?) thing, but it doesn't stay. It looks like the screw is too short perhaps..? It fits into the hole but doesn't thread. This means the lid isn't anchored into the stool storage place and shifts around a lot. I am planning to adhere them by myself, but it is a shame. I expect better, but considering the sale price and decent quality otherwise, I can't complain too much.The assembly was simple and intuitive; the instructions were clear also. Overall, I am happy with my purchase but frustrated at the false advertising of the wooden surface, and at that it arrived broken.

looks very good but , very unstable..... two falls in the stool was bought...... now stored in garage.

So comfortable and such a beautiful piece. I highly recommend.
