Modern Pastoral: Bring the tranquility of nature into your home

This book is full of unique ideas not seen elsewhere. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the settings yet each was full of beauty and the narrative was spot on. It is perfect for many afternoons in front of the fire. The quality of the actual book was also amazing - thick pages, rich photos, and wonderful binding.

I had stopped buying design books since there is so much content online, however, I had to have this book. It is such a treat.

I think the best photo of this book is on the cover. After that, there are shots of "things" and items but not many of fully decorated rooms, which is really what I thought this book was. I had so looked forward to this book because it depicts a style I love, but the photos came up short. Almost returned it to Amazon but just didn't want bothered.

I am so pleased with this book. It features a wonderful range of homes and the pictures are beautiful. I can highly recommend it.

I was so excited to receive this book on scandanavian decor. Unfortunately, I found it to be blah. I love simplicity but it was extremely plain and kind of House on the Prairie.
