Coloring Book of Shadows: Green Witch's Herbal

LOVE Amy!! She's a single person company, does it all. Creates, draws, writes, edits - she is honest, fair, incredible, and honestly a wonderful soul and human. I appreciate her for sharing her vision and knowledge in the form of these books. She's sharing the good word about witches and being magickal, breaking down the stereotypes we continually fight.Her coloring books are not just a coloring book but rather, a journey. The information they contain is a wealth of knowledge. Providing some wonderful insight and input on all things magickal.I joined her Facebook group back when I purchased her 2022 calendar and she is amazing. She shares videos on how she is inspired to color her pages. She shares positive and inspiring feedback to all the folks. She sends out free coloring pages and postcards. I feel blessed to know her and learn fr her. Thank you Amy, thank you for being your authentic true beautiful self.

I have many of Amy’s books and I love them all!! I have colored a few then and taken them apart to add the pages to my own Book of Shadows. Her art is amazing and inspiring. There is just enough elements to color but not so much that it feels overwhelming. What I like most about Amy and her books is that they are beginner friendly AND budget friendly…. You can’t afford those super duper colored pencils? Use crayons! Who cares! Amy is all about using what you have and just enjoying the process and hopefully learning something along the way. This book is no different. There are plenty of herbs and information about them. The introduction to the book is nicely written and touches on foraging and how to be safe with the herbs you are using. This book is perfect as a stand alone herbal reference or an addition to your existing research. I can’t wait to get coloring!!

I like to color to relax and I like to try out natural solutions for health and cleaning, etc. This book helps with both. I have only colored a few pages so far. I am not sure how I will use the blank pages but I am sure I will think of something. I feel this was a good purchase.

The illustrations are so fun to color and are very detailed for all types of things for you to color and its nice to read all the herb facts to know as you draw!

Got this for my wife for Beltane and she loved it.

I have been fascinated with herbs since I was a little girl, so I knew I had to have Amy's new Green Witches Herbal when she posted Facebook.I waited and ordered it for myself for Mothers Day and am so in love with this new book. I now have a place I can keep and record all my favorite herbal information, and correspondence instead of it being all over the place. Ive also started to go through some of my other Book of Shadows by Amy and have taken notes of my favorite herbal information in them to add to this book so it's all together for easy reference.Admittedly, I am a big fan of Amy's work, and enjoy all her Book of Shadows. Her Tarot Journal was one of the first coloring books I ever purchased and when I start feeling bored with all my other coloring (cause it happens sometimes) I can grab one of her books, flip through it, and feel inspired to color. So I definitely recommend purchasing any of her books if you're thinking about starting a new coloring hobby, or even to add something special to your current collection.Even if you don't color, this is a great book to have to keep a record of all your favorite herbal information you find or just to have as a reference while learning about herbs. I love how there is already so much info for each plant, so you don't have to add to it if you don't want, but there is room to add if you like.I also like the pages are one sided so if you want to use markers you can place something behind the page and color away.The size of the book is the same as her planners if you're familiar, but if you need it larger she also sells a Pdf on her site that you can print yourself.

I have enjoyed every page I have colored. I have also enjoyed reading the book. A definite win-win situation.

Bought this as I LOVE Amy's colouring books. I know a little about herbalism, and took the chance that this would teach me more information. Totally not disappointed!!Love the drawings and info (and for the safety conscious, it has the "use your noggin" caveat at the beginning)You will not be disappointed in this lovely gem of a colouring grimoire-book <3

Pages are very thin

This is the third(!) witchy colouring book I have purchased from this artist and writer and I must say I was not disappointed! It has a beautiful layout and the illustrations are magical, really fun and engaging to colour in. This was just what I was looking for to learn a bit of green Witchcraft ( there's a ton of useful information on individual herbs and uses, you can tell the artist/writer is really knowledgeable and has a great grounding in the craft), it's fun to learn what Basil is good for (for example) while doing your own colouring of the plant. The layout is something like an ancient herbal so I found that really cool. I love this artist, she puts so much fun and energy and knowledge into her work. If you like colouring, like nature and have a 'witchy' side you are going to love this. Its so nice to spend a little down time to colour and read and it's just a peaceful beautiful thing to do in this hectic world of ours! Love this book. It arrived also in great time and was in perfect condition.
