This honey is the best honey I have ever tasted! When I first tasted it I was in downtown Atlanta. When I tasted it I had to buy it. Before tasting it, I asked the representative why is this little bitty jar so much? ($7.00 for a 3oz jar). He then told me that the Sourwood Flavor was an award-winning flavor. Once I tasted this honey I wanted to purchase the larger bottle for $14.00, yes $14.00 but this honey is soooo worth it. They did not have any more of the larger jars so I bought the 3oz jar. Needless to say, it was gone in a day and a half. This honey also comes with the honeycomb in the larger jar. Honestly, I like to break it off with a spoon and just chew it (but I don't swallow the wax) After craving this honey I decided to see if Amazon had it and they did so I purchased it and am so glad. It's almost time to order some more.

Honey tastes great. Found the original honey in Helen,GA passing thru traveling & discovered the family business extended to Amazon. I thought the jar would be a little larger for the price, but overall satisfied

This is a tasty honey, but we expected a more intense flavor. Something memorable that would make this stand out as unique. The sourwood is slightly 'sour' at best. We had heard that many dislike sourwood because it is so intensely 'sour'. Not so! My husband grew up on sourwood honey, and had warned me that I might not like it. Well, this was some very tame sourwood. I loved it because there was very little 'sour' in the flavor. So if you are looking for a 'hint' of sour, this is the honey for you, like it was for me. My husband on the other hand did not care for it because it simply didn't have the kick he experienced as a child. We are waiting on another arrival of sourwood honey to compare with the current two versions we have, hoping it will satisfy my husband's taste buds. So far what we have now is pretty lame for him. I'm hoping someone has the right version to please his craving taste buds. This honey has a nice darker coloring, and great consistency where it's not too runny. But it does lack on the 'sour'.

Really good honey, tastes great. It arrived in a prompt manner and was properly packaged.And for taste and quality, I suppose it deserves 5 stars.BUT: after thinking about it for a few minutes -- $16 for 11oz of honey?? AM I CRAZY?? No, I'm not ... and as such I won't be buying it again. I mean, with all the things going on in the world these days -- am I such a self-absorbed effete that I need/want to pamper myself with incredibly expensive honey??? HONEY?? I think a rational person knows the answer to that ...But it's quite good. If you like good honey that is incredibly decadent and expensive -- rock on.
