Paid for itself after one use
My dog recently got diagnosed with neurogenic KCS, and to get the diagnosis the vet did schirmer test. One eye was normal the other wasn't producing any tears. They gave us some medicine to give to check for tear production. The cost for them to test her was more than this entire box of tests, and since I am in the medical field, I am comfortable doing these tests and there is really nothing to it anyway. After using the medicine I was able to check for tear production on my own without having to go in for an office visit cost just to get her tear production checked for another cost. Obviously you should keep in contact with your vet and make sure they are ok with it and you are keeping them informed and not just managing it on your own, but definitely worth it if you need to do regular schirmer tests.

Saves me over $50 each opthalmology visit
