Decent and Sturdy. READ REVIEW FOR TECH SPECIFICS.. 1/4" refers to O.D. for plastic tubing!
ok, bought this even tho some of the technical specs were lacking and got very lucky.. I will now pass on what I found out (along with a general review),First, this DOES fit a faucet with 55/64 27 threads male, it just screws on, no need to use the included adapter unless your faucet requires a male end (just threads).. be sure to use the washer or it will leak and tighten it properly.as for the part where the hose attaches for the water diversion, this is what is a big confusing point on this listing.. as it should read what the inner diameter of tube it takes to fit on the nipple snugly as well as what outer diameter of the tube is needed as well, since it has a screw on piece to clamp it down.. you need to use 1/4" OUTER DIAMETER (or very close) hosing to use this with the screw on piece. I used a hosing of ID .170" x OD 1/4" and it fit perfectly, able to snugly fit through the screw on cap to the nipple and be secured without any leaks. I am sure if you ditch the cap, you could use other tubing and just use a small hose clamp as well... but I wanted to give you at least something that works without leaking to go on...The arm to divert the water is VERY stiff and hard to move initially. once you get it out of the open position, it moves fairly easily.. it may need a little lubrication of some sort or just time to work itself out, but at least it's fairly solid so far.. it is all metal without leaks. (so far, lol)the aeration and flow are really good when not diverting the flow to the tubing actually.. better than my normal aerator that came with my somewhat upscale Delta faucet to be honest, heh.looks to be of decent solid and fairly simple straightforward construction, and as long as the rubber gaskets hold up, should last a good while but only time would actually tell that.. I won't be constantly using this on a regular daily basis, just breaking it out for special projects... so probably won't be able to report on how the diverter handle holds up over time as it won't be getting massive usage but again, it seems decent and for the price, if the specs fit your needs.. it should be a good buy for you, I'm just glad it's not the earlier push button design, that sounded horrible, lol.. this lever design looks much more sturdy and reliable over time.. cheers!

Works great, challenging to install
I read other reviews before buying this diverter, and a number of them indicated difficulty installing it without leaks. Having plumbing experience, I figured that would not be a problem for me. I was mistaken. The valve came with a washer inside, plus an additional washer. I first tried it with the one already in it, but on my sink there are only a few threads exposed to screw the valve onto, and the single washer wasn't thick enough to fill the gap so it leaked and was loose. I figured the extra washer was provided to solve that problem, so I put it inside the valve on top of the other one. Now there were not enough threads left exposed in the valve to get it caught and started onto my faucet. So I removed both washers and just put in the extra one, but it was about the same thickness as the other one and leaked as before. It seemed I needed 1 normal washer and another one about 1/2 the thickness, but I didn't have that. I bought this to replace the original plunger-type diverter that came with my water filter, so I looked inside my old one to see what kind of washer was in there. Instead of a washer it had an O-ring, so I removed it from the old one, put it in the new one, and it worked like a charm. It snugged up nicely to the faucet, and it didn't leak. The valve handle was difficult to turn at first, as some other reviewers have mentioned, but it has loosened up over time and was not a persistent issue. It's working fine now, and I'm happy with the quality of the valve itself. I was able to solve the leak issue during installation, but I can see how the typical homeowner with little or no plumbing experience might seriously struggle with it, or give up and send it back. I realize that all faucets do not have the same amount of exposed threads on which to screw the valve, so for some people this might screw right on their particular faucet with the furnished washer and work fine. But perhaps an assortment of washers of various thicknesses provided with the diverter would prevent a lot of frustrated customers and avoid a lot of returned valves.

No leaks
Fits my counter top water filter's tubing. This works just as I need without leaks. The lever moves water from sink to water filter tubing easily, and smoothly. It was very easy to install. I always use plumbers tape on all threads.I am very happy with this purchase.

A little big, Not great for lower faucets or rotating one.
It probably works well for a larger sink. I like the idea of a knob that stays in place so you don’t have to keep pulling in and out, and also risk doing it at the wrong time when you can damage it. However my faucet is older and not that high, and has a rotating end so the twisting action took two hands, and the bottom was taking up too much space compared to the shorter pull out kind. Also the big handle kind of got in the way when trying to wash my hands.

Buying again after two years
I bought this two years ago, and it served me well but recently the lever came off, and I had to get a new one. This is a solid / good quality diverter, so I think that if it can last two years of constant use, then it's a good buy.If your lever comes off, you can put it back in with some Teflon / PTFE plumber's tape, and it will hold up pretty well until your replacement arrives. It's held in place by two rubber rings which I suppose will inevitably wear after much use, and then using the filter will push the lever out due to the pressure.

LEAKY
RUBBER FITS FINE, BUT IT LEAKS AFTER GOOD AND SNUG.
