Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway, Annie and Clarabel

My three-year-old son loves Thomas and Friends and we've slowly been adding to his collection. He received some of these wooden trains for Christmas and loved them so much we decided to get him some more for his birthday. We've come to expect good quality out of these Fisher-Price wooden trains and we have yet to be disappointed. Every single product we have purchased has met or exceeded our expectations! We decided to get our son Thomas' carriages Annie and Clarabel so he could reenact scenes from the episodes he has seen.He was pretty excited when he opened this gift on his birthday! Annie and Clarabel each measure about 3 1/4 inches long and are made of real wood. They both have real working wheels and are made in China. They have nicely-painted graphics and look fairly realistic for being a children's toy. You can distinguish which carriage is which because their names are written in cursive on both sides as well as on the bottoms of the carriages. As with all of the Thomas and Friends trains we have, I love the fact that the names are printed on the bottom so you can tell who is who, especially since some of the trains look similar. Annie and Clarabel have magnets so they attach to each other as well as to Thomas and other trains. When these two carriages are attached, one of them faces the front while the other faces the back, just like in the TV show. Their faces look the same so they can be distinguished by the names on them. We don't have a Thomas train track; instead we have the  KidKraft Waterfall Mountain Train Set and Table  and Thomas and all of the other wooden trains we have work perfectly with it.We have yet to be disappointed with any of the Thomas and Friends wooden trains and will continue to buy more of them. My son is very happy with his Annie and Clarabel and it makes me happy to see him getting so much fun out of them! If your Thomas fan has the wooden Thomas train, these carriages would be a great addition to the collection. The wooden trains tend to be a bit more expensive than other series but to me, they are worth it because of the good quality and durability. I highly recommend Annie and Clarabel, and all of the other Thomas and Friends wooden trains, to anyone looking for a good gift for a Thomas fan!

Nicely painted, quality wooden trains, exceeded my expectations for FP brand products.Noticed a few tiny chipped spots on some of the edges of the trains after about two weeks of play. Overall, it seems like they are going to hold up to hours and hours of train track play. They are absolutely loved by kids who are huge fans of Thomas and Friends.Annie and Clarabel are perfect companions to Thomas the train, they are his two coaches. These were bought along with the Happy Birthday Express for an extra special long train.Wish that they were a little more affordable but sometimes you have to pay for quality, these will be the type of toys that can be handed down for another child to enjoy and love all the same.If I notice any significant issues in the long run with quality, I will add to this post, but so far I feel like they are going to be solid.

No complaints with these wooden Thomas the Train items. I've almost never had a problem with their durability and they're generally well made and can withstand the abuse from a 2 year old that plays with them every single day. I'm sure the paint will wear over time and chip. But, we've had a number of trains for a year and none of them show much wear at all yet. I highly recommend the wooden trains and tracks - they are by far my son's favorite toys.

Thomas needs Annie and Clarabel to be part of his team and this is a good representation of those two characters. High quality, looks like characters from the show, and gives Thomas one of his main jobs to do. :)A good addition to the set.

These are cute and it is getting increasingly difficult to find this duo. The items in the package are exactly like pictured. I actually like the Take-n-Play versions better because they have a bit more detail than this version. He wanted Annie and Clarabel for his Birthday Wooden Thomas so they were a must. We have had them since Christmas - about 2 weeks and the paint is chipping on the corners already. They are about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. The names are in cursive on each side - just as in the show and books and yes, one faces to the front and one faces to the back - also as in the show. I am definitely more happy with the engines in the Wooden line than with these coaches. I wish the Wooden trains were a bit more on the same price point as the Take-n-Plays - but I'm sure everyone has that wish!! :) I would recommend these since they go with Thomas but I always caution my kids to be careful with them since they seem a bit on the fragile side - maybe I am just overly cautious since they are expensive for what you get. :)

These are perfect. My son has been begging for them for a while now because he had to have them to go with his Thomas train. He's so happy to have Annie and Clarabell too. They're sturdy and will last through his clumsy dropsy stage. Definitely recommend these.

These are a lot of fun, but I can't give it more than 3 stars because the price is absolutely ridiculous. For some reason, the Thomas stuff gets away with overcharging times a million. haha They're sturdy enough, although not quite the quality they used to be.

My grandson is totally bonkers for anything that looks like a train, and if it's Thomas the Train, lookout!Make sure you read the "fine print" and if you are wanting one of these trains to be powered, make sure it says so, many without motors cost as much as the battery powered units.

Was a gift for a great nephew & he loved it was very durable he loves everything Thomas. The price was great compared to what I would have to pay in Winnipeg stores

Die Waggons sehen aus wie in den Filmen. Sie Verarbeitung ist in Ordnung. Unser Sohn spielt sehr gerne damit. Sie passen auf alle gängigen Holz schienen.
