This is a light duty ESC
I found this ESC to be perfect for my application in a vintage 25"tugboat using a 2 cell Lion (7.4V) battery and an RS380 motor that draws about 4 - 4.5 amps. The ratings on this ESC are all over the place (30A, 20A, 35W) I think 35W is the most accurate which puts the current draw at about 4.5Amps. I would not want to exceed more than 6 amps with this unit. In my case I removed the plastic heat-shrink jacket and epoxied a small heat sink to the 4 FETs for better heat dissipation and good long term operation. There are no instructions, not that it is very complicated, but it would be nice if the JST connectors were marked for Battery and Motor. For future reference:Female JST: BatteryMale JST: Motor

junk , hit or miss
purchased 6 in total. first two were good and worked as they should, next two were wired wrong at the futaba plug and on the board and would not work. i issued a return and got two replacements. the replacements were wired wrong exactly like the 2 i sent back. i sent a message to the seller about the issue to inform them of the issue. i wasnt even looking for them to replace them or even refund me. all i wanted was to address the issue on hopes they could correct it so that if i were to order more i would be sure to get working units. they sent me a long winded response explaining that the wiring was irrelevant and positive and negative can be either way. i would agree if it were the output to motor leads but it was the input to the board. you cant switch positive and negative on the input . anyhow 2 good units out of 6 is not very good and i do not recommend this product.

Small But Rushed
These are a great size but the switch is a little cheaper than I expected and the shrink tube was not on all the way. It seems like they rushed putting them together.

Does not work
Bought in a two pack for a tank project but they refuse to work together on the same receiver.Work fine running just one but not what I was trying to do nor is it as advertised.Still $7.50 for a brushed esc for use in a car is very reasonable so it is not all bad.

Small and light weight
This is a brushed esc that is a simple plug and play design. The board is covered with heat shrink and is lightweight and takes up minimal space that works very well for dual motor setups. I used a single brushed motor (380 size). Gave good response with fairly smooth acceleration.

How Do They Do It?
Well, not sure this was for a 1/16 scale WPL. Both were cooked in under 5 min of run time!!! The first one on a 2S/390 (reductional) single speed transmission set and the Second on the OFFICIAL WPL 360 Two speed transmission set Again on 2S. So these are GARBAGE as far as my experience goes. It was Wasted Money. My advice, do as I did and shove a HW1060 or a 130A un-fanned ESC into your WPL. You will Smoke less and play more!!
