this thing rocks. I bought it on a whim because i wanted to repair and modify borosilicate glass items and its tedious as can be with a traditional blowtorch. once i learned more about it, i pretty much dont use my blowtorches anymore. you can get different effects with the flame depending on what chemicals you put in the metal bubbler tank. i use acetone methanol and boric acid for a wicked cool(and cooler temperature)green flame. it does requIre maintenance. if used everyday the lye water should be changed out and the machines tank rinsed under pressure and you will see brown corrosion silt come out. wash til clean. NEVER ADD LYE TO TANK DRY. They say not to in directions but arent very specific why. i tried it a few tkmes with no issue. the last time i was leaning over it and put some in, and it blasted super concentrated lye in my face and all in my eyes. first acidic thing i got my hands on was sriracha. you bet your ass i squirted it into my eyes. then i dumped a full bottle of balsamic vinegar in my eyes and went to the shower screeching like a wounded alien beast from a b rated 80s scifi movie. had i not known where to find those things in under 15 seconds, i would definitely be blind now. i couldnt open them for a whole night and i was seeing visions etc.. no i didnt go to hospital im crazy and i hate doctors. there was a chunk missing from the white of one for some time but its regrown and the melted parts of my face actually look better than before now thanks to the miracle of NAD+ anti aging therapy(i dont mind online doctors esp ones with the fountain of youth). still an awesome machine, was totally my fault the instructions said not to do it but theres a bit of language barrier and tbey "could" have stressed it more. so if youve read this far this torch rocks, you can adjust temperature with adjusting chemicals in little silver tank, keep kt clean, only add lye exactly like the instructions say and it should serve you well. id recommend a flashback arrestor in addition or just make one its easy af look it up.

Leaves a few things to be desired in terms of build quality, packaging and instructions but works decent.

En un principio me daba miedo usarlo, ya que solo aprendí con los videos en línea, pero poco a poco aprendí a medir la distancia en que debes aplicar sobre el acrilico para dar el acabado perfecto!

Me gusto solo debería de incluir en las especificaciones que tienes que hacer una mezcla con ácido de amonio y alcohol isopropilico! Pero encontrando el punto exacto en la mezcla trabaja de maravilla !
