The Pumpkin Book

Amazing facts and pictures for my first grade classroom’s research write. This is a great book to add to my informational text library.

We enjoyed this as part of our pumpkin October readings this year. Illustrations are great for the younger siblings who might not understand all the pollination and plant parts yet. Going to be part of our October line up for years to come.

We used this book as a supplement to our homeschool study of pumpkins and the autumn season. I love Gail Gibbons books. She packs so much fact into a fun and beautifully illustrated book. If you've never read her books before you should check them out.
