I really loved this series and have re watched this.Would highly recommend

Far better viewing than the ‘Viking’s’ Series.It’s everything you can ask for in the period it depicts.

What more can I say? This is by far the best Saxon/Viking historical drama ever made. I have been delighted with my purchase.

Great series and quality. However, the bluray box as usual has to double up discs on top of each other hence they can arrive rattling around in the box

Boxset arrived, upon opening the box is not designed to hold 16 discs, some were in the holders but most of them just in a pile in the front of the box. I managed to sort them in groups of 3 from their pics some had seasons on but others didn't so I've no idea what order to start watching in as the beginning seasons don't have which season they are on them 🤬😡 I was offered a replacement but what was the point, if the box isn't designed to hold all seasons nicely in order then they would arrive in the same condition as a replacement. These are not cheap so not impressed at all. Obviously it's not Amazon's fault it's the makers of the box set. I'm going to have to get a dvd holder to put them in order and to protect them absolutely ridiculous

This series has been brilliant.the story,the acting,the realism of very barbaric times.Anyone interested in Anglo Saxon,Mercian and Dane history will love this series.Brutal,Historic and realistic .Amust for any collection.you can almost smell the action and traitorous story line.Alexander Dramon deserves an Oscar for this!!!s
