Chef O Van Pure Almond Extract, 16 Fluid Ounce

Agree with other reviews describing the taste as bitter and only faintly of almond extract. I opened the bottle I received today, smelled like almond extract. Poured some into my smoothie like I normally did with other brands of almond extract. Couldn’t get the almond flavor so added more. Suddenly the smoothie was so bitter to the point of tasting like someone had poured fuel or WD-40 into it. Had to dump it. Not sure what they dilute this with to get you such a large volume at such a cheap price, but it’s not natural tasting and I’m not taking a chance by ingesting it.

This does not have the almond flavor I was expecting, it's bitter with very little fragrance. I added the called for amount I'd used with typical McCormick almond extract, and couldn't detect the flavor, added a bit more and all you could taist was bitter, no aroma. I won't buy it again.

Very good flavor. I don’t have to use extra to taste the almond in my cakes, fillings and frostings. A good value. I’ll definitely buy again.

It seems to be a great product. I sure didn't realize the size of the container.

Wonderful size! I use a lot of almond flavoring so this is great to have a large size in my cupboard. It met all my expectations.

The flavor was perfect. I was very happy with the price for the amount you get too.

I use almond extract a lot and this did not disappoint.
