I’ve been a long-time user of this sulfur soap because it is the only product that consistently keeps my skin clear from tinea versicolor, a rash that flares up for me during pregnancy. If you’re familiar with this condition, you know how quickly it can spread and how stubborn it can be. For me, it develops at an alarming rate—dry, flaky patches that turn red or brown and eventually leave lighter “ghost spots” as the rash dies off. Effectiveness After trying multiple treatments over the years with little success, this soap has been the only thing that reliably clears my skin. Recently, I waited too long to reorder it and the rash spread across a large portion of my torso. Within three days of restarting this sulfur soap, the rash dried up and fully disappeared. The discoloration remains temporarily, but that’s normal for tinea versicolor and fades over time—far better than having an active rash. Daily Use & Maintenance What I appreciate most is that this soap works both as: • A treatment when the rash flares • A maintenance cleanser to prevent it from returning Using it consistently keeps my skin completely clear. Scent & Lather The scent is exactly what you’d expect from sulfur—it reminds me of the natural sulfur smell in some Southern well water (like parts of South Carolina or Florida). It’s not my favorite scent, but it’s very manageable and absolutely worth it considering how well it works. The bar produces a rich, smooth lather and rinses clean. Final Thoughts If you struggle with tinea versicolor or recurring fungal-type skin issues, I highly recommend this soap. After years of searching for a solution, this has truly been the only product that completely resolves the problem for me. I will continue purchasing it long-term because nothing else has come close in effectiveness.

Has done a great job of reducing/preventing folliculitis and acne. It does smell like farts but that can’t be helped and it doesn’t linger. Highly recommend.

I love this soap. It's the only thing that works on my HS, and is gentle enough to use everyday. The sulfur smell is very light and can't be smelled on the body at all. I even am able to was my acne prone face with this.

this is really work on skin problem. value for money

I’m trying out sulphur for some stubborn facial acne that isn’t responding well to my normal products. This soap so far seems to be working well, my skin feels good after using it and I feel like my skin clarity is better since starting it. It does have some sulphuric odor, but not as strong as I feared, I’m actually pleasantly surprised by how light the smell is. It’s not as expensive as other products in my skincare lineup, especially being a full size bar, so I feel like the value for money is good. Remember to do an allergy test with it if it’s your first time using topical sulphur!

Worked great but did leave a yellow tint on my face

I have mild rosacea, and I’m very self conscious. On vacation I had a breakout of bumps on my nose and bought two IPL sessions. The kicker is I also have melasma, the severe kind. You wouldn’t know it if you saw me - it took three years and a shocking amount of money to get rid of. So I don’t know the nurse who is doing the IPL, never been there, and I was sick with worry it would bring those brown blotches back. So when I ordered this soap I pretty much expected nothing - except it actually works. I combine it with 15 percent Azelaic acid, and I noticed a difference after 3 days. I’m canceling my IPL appointment, and if I have to lose the money so be it. $10 soap, who knew? Also I’m 55 and this does not dry out my skin. It’s a lot like the Clinique bar of soap.
