Exactly what they say they are, work well. I have a few hints. If all or a portion of the string doesn't light, it's most likely just seating on a bulb. Plug it in, and go down the line 'till you find the problem bulb. Do not twist! the bulb, just push. Before installing, especially outdoors, stretch the string out in a warm place, and massage each "icicle" to get them to straighten out a bit. It wire, it will bend! Don't expect to get much more than 12' running length per string, unless you have a way to stretch the string out and keep it under tension. Old scraps of white electrical wire, cut 3" long and shaped into an S shape, are a great way to hang these to gutters.

These lights are really beautiful! The package arrived on time, and all lights are working. I have had them on the balcony for about a month now, and they are working very well. They are bright and colorful, and they make the balcony look great. Just as a precaution, I do not turn them on in rainy or snowy days (also because otherwise my outside electric plugs shuts itself off).

Got these as a last minute replacement for a bad string. Lights are good for the time being, but I don't think their lifespan will be too long.Note the the outlet at the end of each string is non-polarized, meaning it will not accept a polarized plug (one side bigger that the other) without an adapter. That's a sign that these are either REAL cheaply made or Real old style.

Every bulb lit up! Nice strings - multi-colored like I was looking for to replace some OLD sets. Very good.

I had to replace a couple of strands on my Christmas lights on the outside of my house. They matched exactly what I already had, and they were shipped very quickly! I was very pleased with the order.

After reading all the other reviews I was skeptical about these lights but figured I could return them if they sucked so why not give it a shot. At first the lights were tightly bunched up and the icicles were all folded back on themselves from the packaging and didn't seem like they'd straighten out but after working them for a bit they straightened out enough to hang up and not be embarrassed, and now that they've been up for almost a month I can see that they straighten out more as they hung (thanks, gravity). I bought 5 boxes total, they've been running (sometimes night and day when we forget to turn them off) for a month and no strings or bulbs have gone out so far. We'll see how they hold up next year after being in storage but for now I'm satisfied with their performance. The colors are pretty too.

Several years ago I purchased four of five strands of these Icicle Christmas lights. Last year I got married and moved into a much larger house. So I went back to WalMart to buy several more strands --- guess what? They don't sell this style anymore! It would look really bad to string different lights across the front of the house. I was so happy to find these online --- THEY ARE PERFECT!

They are bright and colorful. Exactly what you want from lights. I'll check back in a year to say if we have any problems after they sit for 11 months.
