This works well.

I bought this hoping to use in my grass golf hat. Before, the heat and sweat would make the sides of my shaped hat droop after about 15-20 mins playing. I was leery at first thinking the sweat would wash off the product and again the sides would begin to droop, but they didn’t. It has held its shape very very well. I shaped my hat to where I wanted it, held it in place with a rubber band and sprayed the stiffener all over the area I needed it to hold. I let it cure for 2 days and reapplied just for good measure ( because as I said I was leery ) let it cure for another 2 days and played golf on the 3rd day and the stiffener has done its job. My rim never fell or drooped as I was fearing it might. The sweat never washed it off. My only “complaint” is that the bottle it comes in sort of caves in while your spraying. They really need to use a higher grade bottle for such a great product. Very glad I bought this.

Really works well on straw hat, dries hard and clear leaves no stains!!

I bought this spray because I was making earrings out of pieces of lace that I wanted to harden. It worked, however it did not dry in an hour like it says in the bottle. I waited overnight, and by the next day the lace pieces were dry (they were small, about an inch long, and an inch wide, by maybe an 1/8 of an inch thick). Also, it does say on the bottle that to make pieces COMPLETELY hard, you had to do more than one coat, so that's what I did. After the second coat (dried over night) they were the stiffness that I wanted. It does say that you can microwave items to stiffen them faster, but I didn't try that because I didn't have replacement pieces, and I didn't mind waiting till they dried.

Bought this to stiffen up a couple of summer hats that got limp. A fedora type-I used two coats of this and it stiffened it up a little. A wide brim sun hat, 2 coats on both sides of the brim, barely noticed a difference. I am going to do another two applications on both to see if it makes a difference. This stuff should be in an aerosol can or trigger type, cause it is annoying with the type of sprayer that is on it. Won't be buying again.

This is a great product. I have a few straw hats that over the years have become limp and needed to be refreshed. Sprayed this on my hats and after a few hours of curing time they are as good as new. Great product and well worth the money.

Used this to stiffen tea towels to hang on wall. applied 2 coats and then left to dry and went back and would spray. Wife: Did you wash off pump nozzle Me: No .Product is great but keep nozzle clear if wanting to use again. Lessen learned

I like the product easy to use

I bought it as it shows for works on paper too. but the spray was not functional well when I used it for the 2nd time. It helped a bit with my straw hat, but not too much.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Works great!
