They are round and cut metal. And that's all I gotta say about that.

I just purchased a 55-gallon drum to be used as a burning barrel. I had to cut off the top and add air holes at the bottom. These wheels cut through the galvanized steel with no problem. There was very little wear on the disc after all this cutting.

I gave three stars because of price only... other than that, these are not good cutting discs. They come apart around the cutting edge and they separate in the center rather easily... Spend a couple extra bucks and buy a better cutting wheel... these are pretty dangerous for any uncovered body parts! The disc literally comes apart with any general force applied while cutting. They can barely handle the weight of the grinder itself! Don't roll your dice here, it ain't worth it...

Seems for whatever reasons, 5/8" arbor cut off discs are getting harder to find. So I thought I would try some of these. They work ok.

These wheels are incredible, I’ve done extensive work with 16 Guage stainless steel and they have done a great job cutting. I have used a few up, however it was completely my fault. As long as your fairly gentle on the pressure you use and don’t let them get to hot you will have great success. My one piece of advice is that you NEED to wear gloves and glasses if your going to be aggressive with them. Small chunks(no bigger than 1mm wide) will fly off and they’re not a big deal but they do sting.

I only do occasional cutting but they seem to do well. I had one that chipped already and I didn't want to take the chance of it busting apart while grinding so I threw it away.
