Excellent Read
Many useful and helpful recommendations and resources! Very straight forward and to the point. I had already taken the plunge to full-time motorhome retirement but found the book to be useful in its resources and recommendations, solidifying my decision.

Secrets of RVing on SOC. SEC. ( CAN IT BE SO EASY)?
This is a really good book.Very informative and helpful, it delved into several subjects I didn't even think about , such as mail forwarding and taxes and where I planned to use as a domicile state. It also covers things you would expect, how to purchase a used RV , Maintenance, costs, places to boondock etc.The only thing he didn't touch on was in the subject of medical care on the road, maybe because it didn't apply to him was that a great many RVers are veterans and this reliable to get their care from the VA medical system. But overall this was a very informative book.

Informative and Helpful
This book was very informative and I liked the writing style, friendly and encouraging. I would recommend it to anyone that is thinking about the RV lifestyle. It helps you to get a better picture of the lifestyle and ways it is adjustable and fluid. I like how he gives basic steps and places to start planning and preparing.Well done Mr. Minchey!

THE SECRETS ARE OUT!
Have read a lot of "RV" books, but with this one Jerry has written a clear and very informative little book. If your present or future offers you Social Security income and you're contemplating becoming an RVer, then this IS the book for you.Mr. Minchey sets out all you need to know, (and even stuff you didn't think you needed to know), in such a way that you are not only informed, but entertained as well! Not only is this book written so that everyone can understand, but the author offers a bunch of links that can be followed for even more information and facts - all of which is vital to making good decisions about SS and RVing. If you're starting (or just thinking of starting) a RV lifestyle on a limited budget, then this book is a MUST!As Mr. Minchey does, I too recommend that a companion book be "Buying a used Motorhome" by Bill Myers, another excellent little book packed with information and guidance. Both books illustrate clearly that living the RV lifestyle, IS possible on a limited budget.

I bought this book, as well as the "Motorhome and RV Retirement Living" by the same author. The books have a lot of information, but are written for beginners. Both books covers basically the same topics, so I wish only would have bought one of the titles. If you have been rving for a while, you would know a large portion of the topics covered.'

good examples of costs
Jerry uses good examples of both people and data. And provides some good lists and references. Each link I clicked went to a still active website.
