Cute orbs and manageable design---don't stack while freezing
Got these after my fridge's automatic ice maker started spitting out dirty ice, and I figured making my own with my filtered water would be safer. The packaging wasn't heavy duty, but everything came nice and intact. The lid for the container isn't a waterproof seal, so I wouldn't reuse it for anything but storing the ice. It certainly makes it much less of a hassle to use for it's intended use! But a word of caution for anyone thinking "oh I can use the Tupperware for leftovers!"; could result in a mess. The actual ice trays are lovely, but I would wear something you don't mind getting water one while filling up. I forgot about the fill line on my first one and got a big spray of water on me, since there are little holes on each one for air to escape.I'm not looking for flawless orbs, so having imperfections and some air pockets are no problem for me. If you're looking for a flawless finish, you may one to be Extremely Careful filling them up, or turn to a different product. One weird issue I'm having with mine is that if you set them to freeze while stacked on top of each other, only the top one will fully freeze even after 8-10 hours. My freezer is set to -2oF, so I have no idea why the other two is only partially set, even when using fridge-cold water. Either let them set for roughly a day, or set them out in their own spots in the freezer. Also make sure they are leveled-the holes at the top can have water spilling out of the angle is too great.Highly recommend this product if you're looking for some fun ice action! Perfect for my coffee drinks!

Space saving and fun ice cubes
When we moved our new fridge did not have an ice maker so we bought a couple trays of the Wibimen brand ones. We really liked them but couldn’t keep enough ice in the freezer so we ordered this one as well since it was cheaper. I believe the other brand is slightly better quality, but these work great and make ice just as well and stack with our other trays, and the holding tray is almost identical. The tongs work surprisingly well and are satisfying to use (we also have a scoop that came with the Wibimen ones too). I recommend filling the trays slightly past the line, putting the lid on and squeezing out the excess water through the holes, then removing the lid and dumping the excess water before putting the lid back on. This seems to make the perfect ice spheres and makes it easier to get the spheres out of the container once frozen.

Cute!
I bought these to make coffee ice cubes for my morning iced coffees. I haven't quite figured out the proper amount of liquid to add to the tray so you aren't wasting a ton but also aren't adding so little that the spheres aren't totally full. There are lines on the inside of the tray but they seem just to be to lock the top on (they aren't super great at that either) but they don't mark the water line. Despite that, they work just fine, and the right amount of liquid is probably one of those things where practice makes perfect. The only real issue I have with them is that the spheres are difficult to release from the trays. If you twist the trays the majority fall out, but the ones that don't fall out need to be carefully twisted out using your fingers or the tongs that come with the set or they'll break in half. All in all though I'm quite happy with these, the sphere ice is perfect for my drinks and I enjoy that there's a bin to store them so it's quick and easy each morning to toss a few into a cup and get going.

Not flexible trays and difficult to tell when tray is full
When pouring the water into the closed tray it is difficult to tell when there is enough water in itAs it is not clear or translucent materialAnd the tiny little holes on top make it difficult to only put water inside through that openingTherefore water gets all over the outside of the tray and freezesI didn't put enough water in therefore the cubes did not turn out properlyThe concept of the trays and holder is great however it would be much better if the the trays were solckne and flexible for ease of getting cubes out and if the trays were translucent or clear to be able to know when you have put enough water in to make a full circular cube

It is compact
We needed something to make small ice cubes. This tray is very nice, exactly what we wanted but the packaging lacks. There is absolutely NO packing to stop the item from being damaged. So when we received this item this morning it was cracked. It is supposed to hold ice(water)...By the time we figure out how to return this item and get another one, we might as well go to the local store.
