I was first turned on to these type of towels in Italy. They dry off much better than terry cloth, get between toes, quickly dry when hung up and most of all, take a lot less room in the washer and dryer. Friends that get to use them when visiting us end up ordering them also.

Edit: After washing and using a few times I have to say this towel really grew on me. It’s still pretty abrasive. But the size and absorbency is just too good. OP: I thought this would be perfect for a bigger girl like myself. I saw the reviews and the TikToks and thought it was perfect for me. As for the price tag? Well, that must mean real luxury right? Wrong. It’s scratchy, the “waffle” etching scrape against your skin. It’s thinner than hell. My paper towels are thicker (I wish I was kidding). And it had mild absorbency. If you want an oversized post-shower loofah, this is for you. Anyone else, save your money.

We loved the size! My husband is a big guy and we can never find towels that envelop him! These towels were large, absorbant and get softer with each use! They are pricey compared to other towels but we have purchased over 4! Love them!

The problem with waffle design towels is that they tend to just have no shape or form because they’re so loosely stitched. What’s needed is a thick band at the top and bottom to hold them in some kind of a shape. These sheets have none of that and therefore are like a giant dishrag. And there’s no reason they should be $40 each. That’s an absurd price for some cotton.
