This item arrived really quickly* It works great, sure beats bending down to lift the drywall. This tool will last awhile cuz it is made good, The lift worked great! # was easy to assemble and operate. I drywalled my basement by myself. Without this lift it would have been very difficult, I have one other room to do so I will be using it again! Now my friends want to uuse it

A drywall must have for me
We hung vertical drywall sheets in my basement, and this tool was a must have, even for two people. Don't bother with anything fancier, this thing is rugged enough to do the job. It's cheap, and saves your fingers, muscles and temperament. Allows you to hold a sheet on the wall indefinitely while either you or another person gets a couple screws in the drywall to hold it up. You can also use it to shift the drywall side to side slightly while supporting it.

A necessary item you don't get screwed on.
I'm a novice sheetrocker but a veteran rock'n'roller. When I first started using this thing I thought I would need to lift one end, secure it with one screw then gingerly move to the other end, lift and secure that end before screwing in the field. I quickly learned the it is much faster to lift from the middle and secure it there and work my way out. That worked well on 8' sheets but not so good with 12'. For one thing the 12' is so heavy that it buggers-up the factory taper and so long that you can't really get the whole thing lined-up from the middle. I use to use a 2x4 for a fulcrum and flat-bar and it was such a hassle to keep moving and setting up the thing. So I'm real happy with this inexpensive piece of magic.

Yeah Yeah Yeah...cudda DIY
I've used a flat prybar for years to give me the little lift I needed when installing drywall and re-installing doors but sometimes you don't have your prybar handy or didn't intend to do that chore that needed a little lift or there just isn't room to you AND the prybar or .... Don't have any of those problems with this little jewel. It's easy to use ANYWHERE and since it's so small, it lives in my tool bag and is THERE WHEN I NEED IT. How much do I like it? Well...after using it I'm putting one in each of my vehicle tool boxes...it's that handy and easy and did I mention small? Don't you just love/hate inexpensive handy useful tools that just cry out..."buy one for each tool kit"

On the weak side to lift 5/8
I like the portability. The leverage Point might be a little far back and makes it not lift quite as well as it could .

Cumple con su trabajo pero a diferencia de otras marcas su costo es elevado ya que no tiene las mismas funciones q los otros

Quick delivery, small size, lite weight and most importantly works very well; I have used it for dozen of sheets Type-X 5/8 and regular half inch and it lifts easily and well making the tighter joints I was counting on and allowing 'looser' cuts. I should have had this years ago.

The base is too small, can't lift a whole sheet evenly, so it's scraping each sheet. Can't recommend.
