Third one I have bought for our bikes and eBikes. Excellent mount for your water bottle holder. Can be a bit of a challenge to get the mount attached depending on the bike. However, once attached, it does an excellent job of staying in place and we have had zero issues with the mount once installed. Also, very easy to remove an reinstall as we have had to do. Like I said, this is the third mount we have purchased and we are very happy with it. Lastly, directions are easy to follow.

I bought this for my Brompton folding bike. I could see from the photo that it has the same mounting system as Topeak's bar extender, so I knew it would be tricky. It takes about 10 minutes to install, which is fine if you only plan on doing it once, but it's not suitable if you plan on uninstalling and installing it very often. The protective rubber strip that comes with it is not long enough to protect the entire bike stem, so I found an old hose clamp with a rubber strip that I used instead. Electrical tape would probably have worked just as well. Installation is fiddly but I've installed their bar extender several times so I have it down to a fine art. The trick is to use the Allen key to push the bolt through the cap and hold it with your right hand while squeezing the two sides of the band together with your left hand to get the holes aligned. Slide the bolt through the holes and up to the nut, Then turn the Allen key and on the third or fourth attempt the bolt will engage the nut and you can tighten everything up. Then you can attach the cage mount to the cap and finally the cage to the mount. Once it's installed it's rock solid and you'll never want to remove it. On a Brompton the mount sticks out a lot and you won't be able to put the bike in a case. You will have to partially disassemble the mount to loosen it enough to turn it to the side. Either that or mount it a bit lose in the first place. With the caveat that it's a pain to install, this is a great mount.

I had seen the coconut cup holders on Amazon and remembered that I had a coconut carved like a monkey face that I got from Disney World when we did the luau one year. I paid a fortune for that fruity little drink, hauled that coconut back to my hotel room, somehow got it in my suitcase with all of the other stuff I bought so I put it in the back of a closet and saved it forever! Good thing I did! I had the cute little coconut that traveled halfway across the country to come live with me, now I just had to figure out how to get it on my handlebars! When I first started installing this mount on my handlebars, I was afraid it wouldn't get tight enough, it got tight enough. I was a bit worried the weight of the coconut would make it shift. NOPE! It isn't shifting at all! You do need longer screws than what comes with it but if you are like me, you have a ton of those bad boys laying around. If I were you, I'd buy this mount, go to Disney, go to the luau and pig out and get the drink in the coconut, find a way to shove that coconut in your suitcase, and bring that coconut home and make an awesome cup holder for your bike. Just think, with your imagination and this mount, the hydration transportation world just changed! In fact , you could really use this to mount anything to your handlebars. Can't you just imagine a handle bar full of battery operated candles? Me either. You'd probably crash if you tried that at night but defiantly go to Disney and get a coconut!

Los tornillos van embutidos en plástico, por lo que hay que tener mucho cuidado a la hora de apretar. Difícil acceso para retirarlo.

Pour fixer une gourde sur la potence d'un VAE. Tiens très bien et pratique.
