High quality
Difficult to find black eyed peas in my area. No idea why. These are high quality and delicious. Happy to be able to buy them again and again, and I have.

Good value.
Made available at same price as at Indian grocery store near me. Good quality and very tasty. Soak overnight. One minute in instant pot on high. 20 minute natural pressure release. Season to use with rice, burrito or salad.

good flavor, like that the pea are organically grown
I make black-eyed peas each New Years Day for good luck. Where I live, it's not a tradition and I can't find black-eyes peas in the store. I always have to order on Amazon. I select this brand each year.

Bad quality
These are poor quality. I opened the bag and those were just on the top, there is plenty more in the bag. Very overpriced considering that I will either have to throw this away or thoroughly pick through them and throw some away

Nice change of pace
Never had purchased or prepared vlack-eyed peas before, even though I’ve eaten them. It was a nice change of pace to my normal fare of black, red and chickpea legumes with its own distinctive taste. Would like to see them at a lower cost.

A bit disappointing
I read a lot of on line comments regarding soaking or not soaking these peas. Most said there was no need to soak. But for some reason I chose to soak them which should make them tender. They never got tender even after boiling them beyond the recommended cooking time. That leads me to believe that these peas were old. Last time I made blackeyed peas I used frozen. I will go back to using frozen when I make my good luck blackeyed peas for the next New Year’s Eve party.
