I checked out a LOT of phone holders—some that clip to the sunshade, rearview mirror, or dashboard. The common issue: too many moving parts that are bound to break and aren't easy to relocate. If I want to use it in another car, no unclipping or unscrewing—just pick it up and place it. Plus, it’s priced really well. Yes, our cars have the Android Auto or Apple interface with the fancy touch screens but sometimes I don't want to hook my phone to the car. I just want to place it in the holder and go about my business, you know (pause) the old school way.This product works and works well.

Use this to hold the display for a aftermarket CarPlay unit in both my kids cars. These units work great but they are heavy and end up unsticking and one broke. I still use the manufacturers mount but rest the display in this. Holds the display well, stops it from shaking and takes the load off the suction cup. Great solution for this problem.

I have had window phone holders for years. My newest case, while saying it can be used with with one, could not. Unless I added a metal plate between the case and phone, the magnet mount won't and with a plate added, the wireless charger won't charge.So I purchased this instead. So far it holds the phone securely and is not directly in my field of view out the windshield. It sticks firmly to the dash but easily moved around the dash and stays where it's placed. Nice product for nice price.The shipping was less than desirable. It was to be a next day delivery, then was to be two days later. I got deployed to Western NC For the hurricane relief and it finally got delivered the day I returned, 7 days after being ordered.

This phone holder is perfect for my iPhone 15. It sits perfectly on the dashboard of my Subaru Crosstrek. I put a piece of non-slip shelf liner under it so I don’t stick it to the dashboard. Works great that way, does not slip or slide on the dashboard.

i bought it cause my poplock won't hold any longer to the case i have. in the texas heat, it comes loose very often dropping phone to car floor. i bought the loncaster as it looked neat. and it definitely does. the problem is that it has to sit on a flat surface. that puts it a full 5 inches further into the dash than usable. my toyota has a scoop dash not flat in front of me so i can't sit it there either. i've a use for it, but it won't be as intended unfortunately.

Its sturdy and holds my phone well, it has never fell out. It has also survived a crash, two years of vibrational abuse from my subwoofers, moving from two different cars, well over 100 degree weather and it's still kicking.

i have purchased numerous car phone holders that are designed to fit the air vents or the cup holders and each one will lose it's functionality within a year - or take up too much space in the cup holder. This one - although I wish I could use it with the phone in both portrait or landscape mode, seems to work well for my comfort level. It sits in a cubby on the dashboard. So far, so good! I would give it a 5 if I could use alternate modes for viewing while driving.

I bought this for my car but it didn't suit my set up so now I use this on my desk at work to hold a cellphone that is connected to my security camera's. it's perfect, easy to set the phone in, holds it at exactly the right angle, it's heavy enough to stay in place.
