Direction To use as a filler Shave off a small piece and work in the fingers until it is soft enough to press into the crack or hole using a putty knife or similar tool. To soften the stick: Keep near a gentle heat source for a short while. A close colour match can be achieved by mixing colours. When in doubt, choose a colour shade slightly lighter than the wood being filled, this makes the repair less obvious.
