Chaney 75171 8-inch Poplar Wood Wall Clock

Cute little clock that is perfect in the space in my kitchen. Wood matches my cabinets. It does stand out away from wall rather than flush but this is not a problem for me. Clock is quite and very easy to read. Keeps extremely accurate time.

I really loved the wooden frame. I hung this clock in the kitchen and the color of the wooden frame is just a perfect match to the color of the cabinets of my house's kitchen. My wife loved it very much and could not thank me enough for this important wall clock thing hanging on the wall. The time keeping is also very reliable and the ticking is soundless. Very nice wall clock that I recommend to everyone.

Not so happy that I now have to buy a new clock but it is nice looking, small and unobtrusive and worked great until it died. :(

I like the real wood and the overall look. A nice replacement for our old plastic bathroom clock.

In Amazon's picture of this clock, the pieces of wood which make up the frame appear to be very well matched so that you hardly notice it's not made from a single piece of wood, but each of those several pieces are very clearly delineated on the clock I received. More importantly, the written description of the clock is misleading. The description says the clock is 1-inch deep, which led me to believe it would hang flush against the wall. In fact, the frame is 1-inch deep, but the works which protrude from center of the clock's back are an additional 1-inch deep so that there's a 1-inch gap between the wall and the clock's frame. That protrusion from the wall is the more obvious because this is a relatively small diameter clock. This was not what I wanted or expected, so I'm now looking for another clock. Maybe I'll hang this one in the garage.

3 1/2 stars. Very nice looking smaller clock and working well so far. The numbers are small and hard to read unless you are up close. Wish the numbers were a little bigger.

Nice clock, wood looks good. It stands off the mounting surface about 3/4 inch, not a problem for me but be aware it's not a flush mount. Numbers are lightly printed (I like that), hands stand out clearly against the dial. Not dead silent, but MUCH quieter than other similar clocks I have.

I really love the look and size of this little clock, but it stopped working after just two months of use. Very disappointed.

Love the clock, easy to read and like the second hand too!
