Just what I needed!
I had an old lamp with a clip-on lampshade, which was quite frayed. I wasn't able to find another clip-on shade that would work well with my lamp, so I thought I'd give this a try. It worked well, and I can now keep my lamp.

Saved by purchase
I have a dark corner in my kitchen area that I lit with a lamp and a smart bulb. The switch on the lamp broke. I had a replacement lamp picked out at the thrift store and then saw another one that was a better price. I bought it without thinking and when I got it home, realized it didn't have the shade holder on it. I bought this and it worked just fine. So I replaced my broken lamp for far less than it would have cost me to buy a new one. My only issue is that the bulb holding part is a bit on the tight side. I was worried it would break the bulb trying to get it on. But all in all thumbs up.

Super easy to use!
I was a little nervous about clipping it on the lightbulb worried that the bulb might shatter, but it clipped on without any issues. It feels secure, and couldn’t have been easier to use.

Does not include finial to screw on top
I assumed the finial to secure the lamp shade to this adapter was included as it was shown in every photo. No finial was included in my package. Will be returning this item. If the finial was included, I would rate the products higher as it does the job needed.
