Very sleek, neat and easy installation
Used this to replaced a cheap, clunky flashlight looking laser which had a coiled cord going to an awkward to mount remote switch. This laser looks much better and was MUCH easier to install. Downside is that it expensive. Also, it is not as bright as other types of lasers and uses a tiny CR1/3N battery. Haven't had a chance to test accuracy or determine battery life. I keep extra batteries stored in rifles pistol grip. I think the brightness will be adequate for the distances it will be used for. As long as the battery life and accuracy are acceptable I believe it will be ok.Edit: During testing I found that I have to hold my wrist at an uncomfortable angle to operate laser. I could not sustain this for more than a few minutes at a time.

NICE BUT TO SMALL
WHAT A BUMMER IVE BEEN TRYING TO SET UP MY RIFLE AND THIS WAS THE LAST ITEM IM WANT TO PUT ON MY GUN…I RATED IT A 3 STAR..BECAUSE THE LASER ITSELF WAS NICE AND BRIGHT. NOT AS BRIGHT AS ADVERTISED BUT. VERY NICE BEEM AT 150 YARDS DAYLIGHT AND APROX.1,200 YARDS..THATS WAS MY VISULE SITE BUT I DID NOT MARK THE SPOT. I DID NOT LIKE THE FEELING OF THE SETUP WHEN I INSTALLEDIT BUT THE SWITCH INSIDE OF THE TRIGGER THAT ACTIVATES THE LASER IS SMALL AND YOU HAVE TO ANGLE YOUR GRIP TO TRIP THE BEAM. AND LAST OF ALL IT IS MADE OF SOME KIND OF PLASTICTHANK YOU FOR LETTING ME REVIEW THIS ITEM .AND HOPE THAT IT WILL HELP ANYONE LOOKING TO GET SOME CUSTOMER FEEDBACK. THANKS

So So
It mounts up well and works for a foregrip. The laser is hard to activate.

This is nice and I’m mainly chiming in to offset the few reviews I see that are bad
I waited a few weeks to leave feedback. The people saying that the laser can’t be adjusted/dialed are likely talking about 1st generation lasers, or they’re outright confused. I reached out to customer support prior to buying based on those exact comments. They (Niki) assured me that those concerns were outdated or irrelevant. She even sent me extra windage screws which was a nice gesture. So in a nutshell I like this design. I’m more or less blown away by the durability (there’s YouTube vids showing torture tests that are thorough to say the least)….it’s easy to dial the laser. And having never been around a green laser before I’m impressed by the visibility. I wasn’t expecting to be able to see the laser on green grass 100 yards away. This is nice and I’m completely satisfied. And I’ll go ahead and say it here since I’m confident in Viridian’s willingness to factor in customer feedback. In the future as they make slight adjustments it would be cool if the button was more of an “on/off” type thing rather than having to hold it. I would still give this 5.5-6 stars out of 5 regardless.,.but just sayin ;)

Outstanding quality, low profile, high visibility
The more i use it the more i like it.I mounted it and when i went to zero it with the Allen wrench, the screws were stiff. I thought i had purcased another broken pos laser with stripped or frozen screws. But to my delight they are just stiff! It was strange when i adjusted the windage the laser moved horizontaly not left and up. Skeptically i did with this laser as with all cheap crap. I zeroed it then smacked it up down left right then rezero then repeat till the springs, screws and aperture settle and hold somewhat zero. This laser didn’t budge off zero. After the smack test and a 30rnd range test 556 it held win and elev. The brightness is very good. In the attached pic, you CANT see the laser on the middle tree in the background. Straight into the setting sun. 25-30 yds. But i can! Easily. It is a medium sized hand stop. Your index and middle finger are the only contact points.Im hoping to see a full foregrip and pistol grip in the future!

Excellent Value
I am extremely happy with this laser. It was very easy to install. It is very lightweight and small, which reduces weight and bulk. It was very easy to sight in. It allows a very simple grip with my left hand to activate the laser. It is very bright and easy to sight on a target. At night is very visible at 100 yards, depending upon the surface it is reflecting. During bright daylight it is very visible at about 30 to 50 feet, depending upon the surface. The guarantee and a 7-Year Warranty is excellent.I highly recommend this product.

Sweet but pricey
I got a deal on this, but still feel it's pricey for what it does. But, it's a well built quality piece.

Very impressed
I was looking for a green laser for my rifle for a long time. All of the ones that are "quality" seem to be more than $400. I've purchased a few less expensive ones and was very disappointed in all of them. This one not only seems to be quality but it is very ergonomic and fast to use. You will love it. Make sure you use Viridian batteries because they're wrapped. It's so it won't create a short. They're not expensive so it's not a deal breaker.
