Innovative Components AI1/2T1.5-B-TR6 1/2" tapered tip, 2.25" Rounded T knob Spring Loaded Pop Pin 1.50" welds on barrel included

I bought this to add to the ProtoFab Bronco rear bumper tire carrier I have. I bought this piece and another similar one (https://www.amazon.com/Innovative-Components-AI1-2-1-5-BB3-included/dp/B00GAZQE1S/ ) because I wasn't sure which one I wanted.This one has a tapered tip and t handle where the other has a 1/2 straight tip and round knob.All of the pieces swap between the two items; handles and plungers interchange and the weld on bodies are the same.Quality is great on both.The threaded male piece looks like plastic in the product picture, but is really a black oxide looking metal.Other than the thread on plastic handle, the entire product is made of metal and is very stout.The plastic handles have been secured with red loctite, but are removable with some effort.Better product pictures would have helped me buy this product so I have included some here to hopefully help someone.

Wound up not using this on the offroad trailer I was building but it appears to be a solid and well made product. I will certainly use it on another project without hesitation.

I have them welded on to some telescoping sq. tubing and they are as described and function as expected. I have yet to take the trailer on a trip but I don't expect any issues.

It’s a great value. My steel bumper swingout came with a very wimpy pin that eventually bent. This thing had plenty of material to weld and I was able to disassemble to ensure no damage to the internals with the weld heat and has proven to be stout with as rough as I am with it.

Welded up nicely and works great for my tire carrier. The picture is a little different than the actual product though. The actual product has more of a taper on the pin--the picture makes it look more squared than it is.

Ya know pleasantly surprised about this spring loaded deal. It’s built really well, and the plastic handle ain’t brittle or cheap. Only thing is I wish they made a straight shaft one instead of the tapered shaft.

Good quality and works perfectly for what I need it for

Built a rear bumper and used this as a safety latch on spare tire carrier. Works great forgot to latch carrier down once and drove about 5 miles over very rough dirt roads and trails without damaging it.
