Good starter kit for beginner knitter.
This is a good set for a beginner knitter. Has a few tools and the interchangeable needles come in a lot of sizes. Seem to lock tightly to the cables. Easy to set up. The case better than others I’ve seen as long as the zipper holds up.

I'm an avid knitter of nearly 2 decades and I must say this is a great set. The needles do have a tendency to unscrew every so often and catch the yarn, but other than that I've used them for several projects and you couldn't ask for a better set at this amazing price.

Actually pretty good.
Needle sizes 2 up. Easy to use. Yarn will catch a little at the point needles connect to cord, but not terribly. Keep an eye to make sure needles don't disconnect with use. It can come loose sometimes. Comes with 4 different length cords and some other random items. But the metal needles are solid for the price.

Nice set
This is a nice set that was affordable. Everything worked well and the color has not come off. The connection stays and doesn’t unwind as you work. I haven’t had a single problem and I’m pleased with this purchase.

Good for the money
They are not soft to handle and for that reason it takes more time to knit with them, on the other hand they have many measurements that other brands do not have in a set and this one does have them, there is always the good and bad of each set

Not nearly as bad as some would have you believe
This set has sharp crisp points. Ideal for stich pick up! I couldn't disagree more that the joints on them catch on yarn. Mine do no such thing. They stay tight if properly tightened. The point protectors work even if all you want to do is change cables mid stride. I am no beginner, I have had many needles since I was 7 years old. These actually work. Knit Denise needles are made in America, and I tried them. For me China is much better. They don't break in 10 stitches! The work is smooth and butiful. I am hard of vision so the red paint makes seeing much easier.

Cheap, low quality
I’m incredibly disappointed in these needles. I’ve had fewer frustrations with a very cheap set of bamboo needles than with this set. I will be returning these and saving up for something better.First of all, the needles already had wear on the tips of several sizes when they arrived. All I can figure is that I’m not the first to be returning this exact set.The transition from the main portion of the needle to the tip is very sudden, so they don’t glide smoothly against each other while stitching. You can see the harshness of the transition in my photos of the obviously worn tips. This makes for a less than pleasant knitting experience. The join between the cord and the metal piece is also harsh and catches on the yarn as you slide the stitches across. This is really frustrating, especially when it actually snags and damages the yarn.Several of the needles cannot screw all the way into place, leaving a gap that’s the perfect size to catch stitches in. My finer weight yarn got so well caught there that I had to remove the needle from the cord to free my yarn, as I couldn’t get a hold of the yarn to pull it free. The needles that do screw fully into place don’t stay secure. As you work, they come loose. Thankfully, getting stitches caught in the gap created is generally enough of a problem to catch it before the needles fully disconnect and cause you to lose stitches, but it’s still frustrating to deal with. The cord is very stiff. I work with the magic loop method quite a lot, but can’t do that with these cords because they aren’t flexible enough to work with.As a lifelong crocheter, I’d assumed that I could buy mid-range tools and be fine for quite a while before being forced to upgrade, since that was true for crochet hooks. However, this doesn’t seem to be true with knitting. If you want budget friendly, stick with fixed circulars. For interchangeable needles, quality truly matters and you very much get what you pay for.I wanted so much to love these needles, but I just can’t. They led to far too much frustration and no actual progress on projects, so I’m back to my cheap bamboo for the time being.
