Solid performer for a cheap price
I am very pleased to report my surprise as to how well this cheap little antenna works (for me). Most of my monitoring is for 800 mhz trunked systems and this little antenna works absolutely excellent for this band, I use a coax relay to switch between an 800 mhz gain antenna on the roof with an in-line band filter to reduce cell tower interference. With this filter the radio ONLY receives between 700 - 860 mhz. When I want to check the weather band or listen to other bands while traveling, I flip a switch and the radio receives everything. I tried a different on-glass piece of crap antenna and it would barely pick up the powerful weather frequency. This little guy, however, receives the weather channel very nicely. Based on this, I suspect that it will perform satisfactorily wherever I go. For someone looking for SOLID 800 Mhz mobile reception and/or a stealthy no-visible antenna look, I highly recommend this HARULU antenna. I see other similar ones out there. They may be the same. They may not. My vote is for this brand. Also, I mounted it on the windshield in front of the rear view mirror and there is enough coax to snake under the headliner, down the side column, under the steering wheel to the coax relay, which is hidden under the center console.

for less than $10 it's worth a shot
This antenna is not as great as I hoped. It's very small and the cord is barely long enough, but I don't get very good reception with this. I feel like it is only slightly better reception than the cheap extendable antenna that came with my scanner. I've had antennas that stick on the window and stick up like a car radio antenna and those seem to have worked far better than this.If size or cost is a concern and you aren't trying to listen to anything too far away, this will probably work fine. But I might have to find a better antenna for my area. But for less than $10 it's worth a shot.

Good bang for your buck.
I use this on my Uniden BCD996P2 and have it on the inside of my front windshield on the passenger side. For a 4" dipole its fantastic. I wish the wire was a few feet longer and thicker. I can see this being susceptible to RF interference over time. Overall i recommend this to a lot of folks who can't or don't want to drill a hole or use a mag mount antenna.Aside from the thin wire length, its a 4" dipole. You're not gonna get the same coverage and reception as a 50" whip antenna. This is a good antenna for in the city as most municipalities have repeaters that push out enough juice to reach a small antenna like this. For what it is, its awesome and seriously a great deal for what you get.

Small but does not pick up radio traffic well
I bought this for putting in my car, wanted a cleaner my low key look than the whip antenna on my truck. It seemed to work as good as the fixed extendable antenna that came with my scanner, but now that it is installed in my car it doesn't seem to pick up all the traffic or as clear as other antennas I have. Like the idea but wish each antenna was about twice as long, I think the extra length would help.

Works great for my Beartracker scanner on my CB
The antenna is small and discrete and still picks up scanner signals pretty far. I pick up police who are transmitting at least 20 miles away according to their stated locations. Well worth getting for my truck.

This antenna works great!
This antenna works great! I connected it to my scanner, mounted it to a wall close to the ceiling with the self adhesive tape that came on it and, the scanner is picking up all of the frequencies in my area. I recommend this for home installations.

Worked surprisingly well.
Used it in the house and attached it to center of sliding glass door at least 12" from any metal. Worked surprisingly well on 150MHz, 460MHz and even "fair" on 42MHz. RECEIVE only. I did not use for transmitting.

Great price!
I like this antenna because it fits neatly in the back window of my crew cab, it is barely noticeable, it works well and it saved me from putting another external antenna on the truck.
