We have had dash cams in all our cars for some time. Most have a really untidy after market look about them and some of them are loaded with too many features, which you pay a lot extra for. We just wanted one that could provide evidence in the event of an accident. This is as neat as you can get as it fits in the housing that contains the rain sensor behind the rear view mirror. This is fitted to our Porsche 911 / 992 and looks much neater than the "official" Porsche dashcam we have in our Panamera. I did pay to have it professionally fitted and I do recommend ordering the polarising lens with it. The auto electrician who fitted it told me he was also fitting a lot of these to Audis as they use the same rain sensor housing and, like Porsche, charge the earth for their own label dash cam.

This fits and works well - but bear in mind the fitting instructions are generic Porsche. I have a 2019 Cayenne Learnings The first panel takes A LOT OF FORCE to move. It does slid forward but bear in mind it is not a soft push! The second panel has a retaining lug. I did not remove the mirror, Make sure the small plug is the right way round - small nick to the right - as if not you can t fit it. It is an auckward angle and I was sure it was the same way up as the one I removed and that the angle was the issue. This wasted 10 min. It would not connect on an iPhone My son read the instructions - if it wont connect turn off cell data and bluetooth. Then it connects Fitted it goes a bit below the mirror but if you want a discreet cam this is I suspect as good as it gets

Item arrived on time it was as described and easy to fit and looks as close to the original part it replace that you would not know it’s aftermarket.

Fitted to a Taycan, the quality is great easy to fit and better than the Porsche one. I have already recommended to two friends who have purchased.

Montata su Taycan, non semplicissimo solo perchè lo spazio è limitato, ma è veramente bellissima, nemmeno la dashcam di Porsche è così integrata. Video di qualità altissima, app semplice ed efficace.

SI NO ERES MUY MUY MANITAS NO LO INSTALES TU. LLÉVALO A UN TALLER. Me gusta la calidad e grabación. Además se adapta a mi porsche taycan de manera que no se nota que llevas nada adicional. Ojo, la instalación no es tan sencilla como dicen en el vídeo. Échale una o dos horas. Y hay momentos en los que dijimos. Uf. Ahora no vamos a poder montar todo esto. El problema es ajustar la última carcasa y poner el retrovisor…. En el vídeo parece todo muy sencillo. Pero no lo es. Hay varias cosas que no dicen. Mis carcasas estaban unidas a la pieza por mi piso por cuerdas de seguridad. No salían del todo. El cable que tienes que sustituir es muy duro. Aconsejo sacarlo desde abajo presionando con un destornillador Si tienes que volver q colocar el retrovisor , pon el cable negro (el suyo) por fuera de los enganches del retrovisor (4) al cristal. Sino no va. A entrar.
