Led bulbs are polarized,If the wiring on your car has ever been altered/replaced/modified, its possible the wires to the light socket are 'reversed'.

Are these bulbs double function? Example same bulb can ve brake light and tail light

Yes, they are a 3157 which means that they have 2 circuits, as apposed to a 3156 which have the same socket, but the 3156 is single circuit. Like in halogen bulbs the 3156 has 1 filament and the 3157 has 2 filaments. So you sum up, yes they are able to use as a running and brake light

Q: will these work on a vw jetta 2015 drl without giving an error?
