I typically end up with small holes or tears in the back of my jeans. Usually near the belt loops or the pocket corners. Typically I’ll have to send them to a seamstress or the local dry cleaners to mend them. I haven’t used patches in ages and thought I’d give these a go.Install was super simple. I trimmed up the frayed fabric in the jeans. Then I cut the patches to fit the area with the rip. I sized them a bit big for coverage and extra strength. Then I used the iron to really adhere it well. I went over it with several passes, adding extra pressure. Then I covered them with some old book to add a little weight.It’s been a few months now with zero issues! They have not torn or ripped any farther. The patches are holding up great and I wear these jeans a few times every week.Washing machine has not affected them at all. I will add, that I don’t dry my jeans in the dryer. I always hang dry them. So I’m sure that helps. But overall these patches are awesome and get the job done!

My husband’s jeans always give out in the same spot and sewing the holes never holds. These patches were easy to cut to size, iron on and patch the area well so he can continue to wear them.

I suggest seeing your clothing material. If jeans, the patch is very thick and feels slightly uncomfortable if around inner thigh. The patch is much thicker than normal cloth or jean material. Very good adhesive though.

Used them to repair biking shorts that could not be sewn. Just be careful with the iron - the heat can melt spandex.

Great quality,able to cut the size needed, and patches hold! They've taken several trips through the washer/dryer and have held up great

***UPDATE***I have worn and washed these same jeans a few times and the patch is working just fine. It’s a bit less stiff. I am happy with it.My first attempt left the glue melted into my jeans and the patch lifted before I could move my jeans off the ironing board. I tied again with a larger patch to cover the melted glue and the hole and so far it worked.The key is to not iron it too long. The directions say for 60 seconds. In my first attempt I kept it on longer (to be sure it stuck). Don’t do that.As others have said, it is quite stiff. And I placed a patch on both sides. I have not worn or washed them yet, and I will update after I do. Also, these patches are not denim like your jeans. The material is more like what your grandma wears when she wants a jean like pant, which is fine as it’s a patch.

This worked out great. Very easy to put on and looks good.

Iron on adhesive doesn't hold very well but I always follow up with stitching, so it's a non-issue

My husband was even able to apply the patches on his reffing pants which are thicker but he used a patch per side to ensure the best coverage and support and it worked very well.
