I would say 2-3 years depending on how big it is

How long until it produces nuts, how many years old? What soil does it like paul.f.

Having only just got mine I would guess it would take a good few years before it produces any nuts as mine was only a couple of feet high ,maybe 3-4 years ,soil type ,I think it can tolerate a wide range of soil types
