great book

This is *THE* book on computer networks. With source code examples, it provides a lot of information any professional will need to further build their skill.

Very readable written with enough low key humor to keep the reader engaged. Good as a first introduction- doesn't get into the details too deeply. People familiar with the subject might find it a bit superficial.

Item came in good shape just as described

This is NOT the same content as regular edition. There is no chapter on network security. Other chapters seem to be abbreviated as well.

I dont know how it happened, but got a 6th ed.

The product is as described and I know I got a very good deal

Ce livre est une version "réservée" au sous-continent indien (c'est ce qui est marqué sur la couverture dans le coin supérieur gauche) ; ça ne serait pas un problème si le contenu était le même. Mais ce n'est pas le cas, je pense que le livre a été abrégé et en plus il manque au moins le chapitre sur la sécurité.
