I recently got a new induction cooktop and had to change out all of my cookware. Because it happened so suddenly, I didn't have a long time to research. I chose a Farberware set that was quite economical and familiar to me as my family had used it when I was a child. I was quite happy with the set and although It came with two non-stick frying pans, neither works on induction! I gave them to charity and ordered this large piece that also has a cover. It's perfect for cooking large casserole style stove top dishes. It has more heft than I expected and it is quite large. Those are both good things in my mind. It cleans up well and seems to be working just fine. I'm also very pleased with the price.

This pan is so good! Perfect heat distribution, heavy and solid, and easy to clean. The best part is, no toxic coating to worry about. You will not regret this purchase. I'm replacing our Farberware set from 1993. We received it as a wedding gift. This brand is made to last. I'm so happy with this purchase!

I had an older Revere Ware with the nonstick coating. Over time the nonstick coating has shown too much wear and tear. I dumped it and ordered this one. It is actually bigger than the one I had before, and I love it. Cooks evenly. I love the two handles since I do have weaker wrists and is hard for me to lift it when it's full. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a large pan.

We have used this large frying pan two times and really love it. It is very heavy, heats evenly, finished well, and cleans up easily. The top is a very nice feature also. My only concern is the small handle for such a large and heavy pan. We will always use both handles to lift the pan to make sure the long handle does not get too much load.

Having used countless chef-quality pans without protruding rivets, I've come to despise rivets on the inside of the pans. It's hard to clean, hard to make clean passes past the rivets with a spatula. I also haven't seen any pans with rivets that are NSF certified, probably due to the harboring of food/bacteria. This large saute pan has no rivets, and a nice set of handles, and don't get hot, even when cooking with a gas flame. The base is heavy, in a good way, and creates a uniform temperature over the surface of the pan. It also looks sharp and couples to induction elements really well. Overall this is one of the best saucepans I've used.

We have been limping along on a 10 inch Farberware and a 10 inch non-stick as our largest skillets. We finally decided we needed a larger one and bought the 4.5 quart Farberware, trying to get away from non-stick pans.It is heavy, so I'm glad it has that helper handle. Despite not being non-stick, it is easy to clean.My only concern is the material the handles are made of. I do a lot of stove to oven cooking, and the instructions with the pan limited the temperature for the handle to something like 350 deg F. That is too low for most of my stove to oven recipes. So we'll see how they hold up.

Excellente poêle. Solide et très grande! Malgré l'absence de revêtement anti-adhésif, les aliments ne collent pas. Le fond est très épais.

good price good quality and this pan is heavy so I don't expect this one to warp like our more expensive older one did, great for a flat top stove.
