Got it after being so disappointed with other Magnet car holders.The one that get inside your disc slot ruin my brand new car disc slot!! And the second I bought (swan shape) was awesome but did not attached to my "soft material dashboard".This one is the best!!! It's small and I attached it to a plastic part of my car (see photo) and it's really strong and hold my iPhone 7 plus!The only thing I will recommend is to place the magnet directly on the smart phone and place the case before attaching to the holder... that will prevent the magnet hold to be too strong and will make it easier to remove your phone from the holder!

I bought a new car that didn't have a great place for me to place my phone while driving. I wanted something that blended aesthetically with the car interior, was minimal, and WORKED. This fits the bill perfectly. When the phone is off of it you wouldn't even notice the base was there on my dash. The base has been on for weeks and I've had no sticking problems, even in 90+ degree weather. The magnet on the phone works well and is strong BUT I could use an even stronger one, but I do have a thick silicone case so it's acceptable. Great product that I'd highly recommend for those who want to keep the look of both their phone and car but not sacrifice functionality.

Right out of the box, I'm very impressed with this little mount. It's very small and is styled attractively. The magnet is strong, I imagine it'll hold on to the phone well in normal driving conditions. I have a metal plate embedded in my phone case already, so I didn't have to use any of the three metal disks, but it's nice that they are included; they're small and low profile, so they'd probably work well in most phone cases. I actually placed one of the clear decals on my dashboard, so as not to mar the surface with the 3M adhesive and to make removal easier, should it need to be removed. Overall, I'm very pleased with this mount.

I love this car mount. I previously used the magnetic mounts that you but on the grill of the dashboard vents. The problem with those is that they come off, they damage the vent, they block the air, they get too cold or hot when the air blows on the back of them, etc.This one is made of fine aircraft aluminum instead of plastic, and it mounts to the dashboard with a 3m adhesive pad that comes off easily if you decide to use it. It has just the right friction to allow you to adjust the angle of the phone, and then hold it there steadily. There is enough range of motion that you can mount it on top of your dash, or on the front.The quality of materials used, the design, and the way it mounts to the dash is well worth the additional $ you would pay for the cheaper dash-vent mounts.

If you're like me and have a car with a tiny or SUPER crowded dash, this is for you. Mounted in my 2016 Ford Focus just below and to the left of the CD slot. Still have access to most of the radio buttons (although I never use them thanks to bluetooth) and the phone is super secure.Only downside to this experience isn't a fault of the product at all. If you've got a TPU style thin case for your phone, be prepared for a bit of stretching to take place as the magnets are SUUUPER strong and require a bit of tugging.

This product was exactly what I needed. I bought 1 for my husband and 1 for me, but he didn't want it until he got to use it. He changed his mind and will now be using it. I would recommend you having someone help you set it up. If you sit in your car, someone else can place it and you can see where it would be good. I did it myself, and now I wish it were a little bit more to the right and a little higher. Oh well. I am going to buy 2 more, one for the passenger side of my car, so I have somewhere to put my phone when my husband drives my car. The other goes to my daughter so she's not fumbling for her phone. It's a great product!

I drive a 2009 Mini Cooper and it has a textured dashboard. The adhesive wont hold seal well enough for the stand to stay in place. As such I've not been able to full test this item. I had purchased a new Iphone XR and was hesitant to glue the metal disk to the back of my phone. I attached it to the inside of the case instead. However, the magnets do not seem strong enough to keep my phone connected to the stand if I were driving.

Just average apparently. Had this since October and it will no longer hold my phone upward (Moto Z Pure) which is far from the biggest or heaviest phone on the market. I can tilt it up and it just over about 30 seconds sags and tilts all the way down until the phone is braced against the dash in my car. Pretty disappointed because it had been an awesome product, but not so much when it becomes useless in less that a year.

Great unit. Bought one for work vehicle and after trying it out I bought another for our personal vehicle. Had tried one of the devices that mounts in the CD slot thinking it would hold tight and it did but the part that holds the phone itself still bobbed around due to weight of phone. This unit is small and mighty. Sticks strong to dash and holds phone firmly. I'm using with a Samsung S8 Plus in a case so there is a bit of weight there. Holds without issue and the metal tab hides inside the phone case so you don't even know its there but the magnetic mount grabs it strongly.

I was skeptic, but so far (been using it for a couple of weeks) it works perfectly well. I've installed the magnet directly on the back of my cell phone (no case), it's not annoying or anything. The mount I put on my windshield. So far it holds great and the phone doesn't move when it's on it. The magnet seems very powerful. As soon as you put the phone near the mount it clips on it. Also, it's really small so you have a better view in your windshield (compared to other gps holder). All in all, very satisfied with my purchase so far!

With metal pad placed inside my thin rubber case the phone slid around quite a bit while driving. Once i placed the metal pad on the OUTSIDE of the case the phone doesn't move at all. Great little phone holder. I even placed the holder on a slight curve on my car and so far so good. Time will tell if it holds up to the heat of the summer but so far im impressed.Update. Fell off shortly after writing this review. Suspect the cold weather caused it.

My husbands old cell phone holder model was recently broken and I got this new model that allows the phone to be tilted in any directions for easy viewing. One big advantage is it's compact and does not get in the way. At first I was worried that the magnetic strip was not strong enough but with several trips on bumppy roads the magnetic strip was still in place. Great value and should be shared among others.

Works well. I have only had one issue and that was with the magnet sticker coming off of my GPS unit. That may have happened because I left the unit on the base all day in my vehicle, with the scorching hot heat, the adhesive let go on the GPS. Now I just make sure that the GPS is taken off the base when I'm not going to use the vehicle on hot days!
