Haven’t had it very long, but setting it up and connecting it was a breeze. Now it does it every time I get in the truck, automatically. Connects fast (within 10-15 seconds), and all functions work as if the phone is plugged in- even the steering wheel controls retain all functions (volume and track up/down). Some reviews mentioned a delay in audio or touch; that could be head unit specific based on tech specs, but with the non-jbl, non-premium head unit in my ‘20 Tacoma there has been no such issue. I’m really happy with how well it works, though I guess time will tell. If it lasts long term, I’d like to find a solution for hiding it behind the center stack, and keeping an “OE” look!EDIT 8/30/2023: After 10 days of use, it is still working great. iOS 16 and 17 on my iPhone 14 Pro. One thing that is a little tedious, though I believe a limitation of CarPlay and not this device, is that google maps and apple maps dont work right until I unlock the phone for the first time getting in the car after a while. It's not a huge deal, and like I said, I think that's a limitation of Apple CarPlay, NOT the device. However, so far so good. I'll continue to keep this review updated as I use it more, or find any abnormalities.

Well it was great for the whole 6 months it worked. Got in my car one day and all it does is reboot. When it did work there was a 1 second delay between when I switch a song to when it registered that I pushed a button. I’m quite frustrated it only worked for 6 months.

So far so good. Installed in a 2001 Boxster S with a KENWOOD Execelon DMX 706X head unit. iPhone 12 max pro. Device instantly recognized, linked phone Bluetooth, all working in 30 second. Re-paired perfect on next start up. No lag that I notice. Audio sounds the same as wired with a very nice system with high quality Tidal. I do note the hard wired USB B connector is very short. Worked for me as I just double side taped it to my console phone mount very near the usb port I installed, but not sure how an extension would work if needed. Also hope the hard wire connector does not strain at the device, as you can not replace it. Following tips in various reviews for these devices generally, I did not attempt to update firmware or change device names. It worked, and I left it alone! Now I can use a magnetic mount to charge that actually charges ( for me CarPlay barley charged) with no plug in. Very pleased. The worst downside so far is that my custom made Porsche splash screen is replaced by the Bluetooth link screen. Could plug the device in after boot, but I am afraid I would be pushing my luck…

I bought this for my new car so I could use Apple CarPlay hands free. It worked great for about a week with very minor issues. Then it wouldn’t connect to my phone. The reason I bought it was so I didn’t always have to have my phone cord hanging all over the place. I did reach out to Amazon for a replacement which arrived quickly and I will write an update if this one stops working again as well. While it was working it was great!!UPDATE: the replacement did malfunction after a while but this time it actually just froze on my cars display screen. I reached out to the seller directly and they are sending me another replacement. I haven’t received it yet but will update once I receive it.UPDATE: the seller as promised sent a replacement. It was a little different than the first two. However, this one seems to work much better than the first two. It will occasionally glitch but that is to be expected with most electronics. Overall I would highly recommend and also the sellers customer service was really great prompting me to add an additional star to my rating. Will of course update if anything major should change.

I would have given 1-star but the people selling this device did try and help. I am on my 3rd unit in 3-months and the quality is low. Yes, it's a great concept and yes, it's easy to connect but the flaws out-weigh the benefits. First, it only connects 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time I have to restart the device and now I'm already 5-minutes into my drive. Second, I keep the device plugged in when I go home. The range on this device to way too big because I'm sitting in my living room and my calls and sound get directed to the device even when my car isn't on...so annoying. Third, it restarts randomly. In the beginning it won't but the more it gets used...the more it restarts randomly, even more annoying when driving. The company ultimately shipped me 3 devices. Device 1 & 3 all of the above happened. Device 2 stopped powering on after 3-4 weeks. I was told device 2 & 3 were considered "upgrades" but not by what I could tell. Since, I'm after my 30-days and 3 devices later, I highly doubt I'll get a refund because hence the 2-star review. Hope you have better luck than me.

I have a 2023 Hyundai Santa FE Calligraphy. I connected your product to the car and went through the installation 3 times. I see your product in the bluetooth listing but it says it;s not connected. If I press on it it comes back and says it can't connect. I tried this 3 times. I know it's Friday night but if you can get back to me I would appreciate it.This is a follow up to the review above. I'm using the dongle with iphone 12. The dongle connects with bluetooth however once it connects and apple play is on the screen the bluetooth connection is gone. I tried doing the update however it says I'm at the latest firmware.THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I'M TRYING TO REACH YOU. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A ZERO. IF I DON'T HEAR FROM YOU IN 48 HOURS I'LL RETURN THE PRODUCT BACK TO AMAZON.

Using it with Toyota C-HR -21.Easy plug and play installation. Now during 1 month i have had to reconnect phone twice. Happened with toyota bluetooth connection even more often so improvement there. Steeringwheel controls work, little lag in controls, but i expected it to be even worse.For the price im very happy for the purchase.

Installed on 2023 Harley street glide St. Gets stuck on drivelink screen. Bluetooth says connected to phone. Not sure how to resolve???
