Conical in shape, these disc springs have special geometric relationships of OD, ID, thickness and height. They are used singly or in stacks to achieve desired load and travel in situations where coil springs are not practical. They are also used to maintain and absorb pressure in bolted assemblies. Carbon springs are made from 1075 steel for use up to 250 degree Fahrenheit. Deflection is shown at 75% of height.
